Dublin General Store — Local services in Dublin

Me and my husband stopped here yesterday on a day trip to Peterborough. It was our first time there so we had no idea how to order or what we wanted. The young man behind the counter answered some questions we had and we started to order. The counter is very high so I thought he was writing down our order so I continued to give him our order for myself and my husband and I was going to order something to bring home for my son when the rude older lady behind the counter came over and yelled for me to slow down he can only do one thing at a time! Is this how she treats all her customers or just the out of towners? To make matters worse the food was absolutely horrible. I didn't even bother to order my sons sandwich If could give them 0 stars I would. Do yourself a favor and if you are in the area go...

This place is awesome, everyone who works there is respectful, courteous and pleasant every time I go in. Their sandwiches are AMAZING, homemade cookies are to die for! Deli has lots of premade take home,heat and eat options like -meatballs -mac n cheese -chicken bites -pasta salads -seasoned steak tips They also have plenty of drinks,chips and other goods that a small general store would have. They also have baked goods from a local baker who makes THE BEST sweet bread! Happened upon this place on the road trip. Was in a small community. Reminds me of my Grandpa's house from the outside. Good selection for drinks, sandwiches and historical items you would see in an old house. It's clean and friendly.

What I really liked was the checkers board on the front porch. Open to anyone who is interested in playing. They also have a small eating/gathering area on one side with puzzles. I could see myself on a cold afternoon drinking hot chocolate and spending some time with family putting together puzzles and/or just enjoying...
