11/28/22 Crickets still. Called the store again and was advised the manager is out to lunch and will call me back. HELP
11/23/22 UPDATE Store response was to please email them for a solution. Emailed them 2x, it’s been a week and crickets! Unbelievable. They don’t even stand by their own response.
I am saddened to feel no further recourse, but to share on social media the lack of common customer service my husband and I have received. We purchased a very expensive, reclining sectional October 2021. Unfortunately, immediately after delivery, we realized a component of the sectional was broken when we went to move it. We had to use the warranty and repair service offered to fix, instead of simply replacing the piece with the showroom floor piece as we requested as an alternative, quick solution. It was repaired after we had to go out of our way to make more than several follow up calls to the store employees and two of their repair vendors. The store receptionist was not in any way helpful either, but exasperated the situation with a very short, condescending, and matter of fact cut and dry attitude...can't be bothered with your concerns, it's your problem, not mine sense of entitlement. Not sure, but believe her name is Alvina? Jessica proved to be more helpful and empathetic, taking accountability for the shortfalls and chatting with us. Jessica explained that Farmers changed repair vendors and our repair fell through the cracks in transition. Still, why did we have to try and connect with everyone, over and over again to come to some sort of a resolution. Why did we have to continually call before any resolution was found? It was rather disheartening to spend thousands of dollars and have to track down where our repair stood time and time again with a rude, stonewall reception each phone call in, from the employee whom regularly answers the incoming calls (Alvina?). Kudos to Jessica for taking some accountability. Fast forward six months, another two parts broken on the sectional. Unreal! We are a family of three with NO small children. Have reached out to the store about 15 times, no exaggeration. Had one repair vendor come out and yet still nothing fixed - NO REPAIR, NO FOLLOW UP, JUST ATTITUDE FROM THE RECEPTIONIST EACH TIME WE CALL. The repair vendor advised, we should keep a fire under them to ensure parts are #1 ordered as he requested and #2 for scheduling of repair within our warranty time frame. After and exhausted number of telephone calls to the store, one in which I finally said, I've had enough of your attitude and lack of communication and customer service, NO RESPONSE. NONE. It is a shame that we shopped local to support the community and this is the lack of service received. The sectional is extremely poor quality to start with and at lease we should have been offered a substitute, but we would have settled for empathy and good customer relations. Trust me, we've put forth several solutions for consideration and NOTHING, NO RESPONSE, CRICKETS. We are working class citizens, whom spent thousands of dollars for our home, supporting the local economy, contributing to the rude employee's job security, and were treated in this unfortunate manner.    Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service this company calls itself giving is a JOKE! Take your money elsewhere, pay a little more, and be a satisfied customer. You have to follow-up numerous times. You leave messages, the manager doesn't call back. You call them, the manager refuses to talk to you. What kind of operation is this? Oh this is the McDonough store by the way. I have taken the time to read all of the other horrible reviews and experiences and I am certainly NOT surprised. Do the owners even care? I guess not. Then I call to speak with the manager Ginger, who by the way promised me a call last week that I never received, and she tried to blame it all on the other manager. Really? Where do they find these people they call managers? I work in Corporate and have for over 21 years and I assure you that this type of service would NOT be acceptable by any means. My replacement product has been sitting in the store apparently since last Thursday. Today is Monday, and guess who had to call. Yep! You guessed, I (the customer) did. And I was met with attitude/frustration from the manager as if I had done something wrong for calling. She then says, "we'll get it to you tomorrow." I said, "okay, do I just sit and wait all day for you all? Is there a specific time?" Ridiculous! This company needs a SERIOUS makeover! But let's start with some proper training on simple customer service skills for your managers...
   Read moreI purchased a brand new lawn mower from farmers furniture in milledgeville ga.in June of last year..Used it one time.tried to use it again it wouldn’t start. I took it back to farmers furniture before my warranty was up. Had insurance everything.Tim and John was giving me every excuse in the book. Was it sitting in the rain? did u put bad gas in it. I have a shed. In as far as gas i used the gas Tim told me to use.Tim kept telling me it was in the shop. John go in the back to check it was still sitting in the back. Never got a call until i missed a payment cause i refuse to pay for something i don’t have and the workers keep lying. They called me about the payment but couldn’t tell me about my mower. It never been fixed. Shon i guess he supposed to take over he said it was fix come get it. This in September of this year .Still wasn’t working and a part was missing. He tell me to go buy the part. It’s Nov. it’s still in the shop r in the back of the store . He said if i dont make a payment he gonna come get it. They still have it. I will never go back to Farmer furniture in millegeville ga.i most definitely going to tell everyone i know and will be posting on facebook to let everyone else know.They liars and rude and think if they threaten you about credit.
