Halvor Lines Speedway — Local services in Duluth

My gf & I attended the fair races over the July 4th weekend (Sunday the 6th) it was awful. Hard to actually watch the races when the wind blows into the main grandstands as it gets Hella dusty & rocks fly everywhere which is very dangerous. Yet price of admission up up to $15 now which isn't worth it. Needless to say we left early due to poor viewing conditions. This has been a problem for a long time & is never addressed it's just " the way it is" we won't be attending this track anymore as other tracks are way better. Proctor can do better but they don't care. It's one of the reasons racing in the twin ports...

For the first time in many years I bit the bullet and took my kids to the races. I was impressed.! Aside from a few hiccups. It's a way better venue than what I remembered. Better track better racing. Etc. Kudos to all those including the lofdhal clan for putting in some serious work to elevate the show. From what it was. Bummer to see such small turnout but well. It is what it is. Keep up the good work folks. My daughter is hooked on ugh....round round... Great show tonight we...

Went to the track tonite, 6/19/16, only to find out the races were canceled and not due to weather. It sure would have been nice if they posted that fact on their website. O'well, a 3hr round trip down...
