I arrived at this post office at 2:10 pm (after it was official closed), and USPS worker Scott, went above and beyond his job description/duties to help me! I had printed pre-paid shipping labels at home and needed to make sure the packages were mailed out today in accordance with the shipping date on the labels. When I arrived at the CLOSED post office, and entered the lobby, I was met by Scott. I asked Scott could I use the "self-help" machine to mail my pre-paid packages? He VERY politely stated as long as they could fit in the machine, that I could. I then explained to him that I needed to attach one of the labels to the package and asked if I could use some Priority tape. Instead of him telling me that the post office was closed, which I knew it was, he went and got the tape for me! As if that wasn't help enough, he stated he would use his "hand-held" scanner to scan the packages in and give me the receipt I so desperately needed. In a day and time when there are SOOO many complaints about service at the US postal offices, I had to take the time to give Scott kudos for going above and beyond his duties to help me; especially when I knew the post office was already closed for the day. Ā Ā Ā Read moreits 6:30 pm and im just now seeing the mail truck on the other side of the street!?! my flag is still up and the letter that's supposed to go out is still in it and no mail either even though im supposed to have a package delivered today. I approached the driver and asked her if they were delivering today and got a response of " No im just driving around searching random mailboxes yes we are delivering today" so i then bring up that a letter was supposed to go out and its still in my box and got a response of "if the flags not up im not picking anything up" so i look across the street and my flag is up she just gives me more attitude hands my neighbor their package and drives off. USPS yall need to get yalls stuff together its already bad enough that yall have lost many packages and or when i get them it looks like someone has tied it to the back of the truck and drug it to my house. now we have to deal with late disgruntled employees with attitude problems that don't drop mail off or pick any up? and when i try and track my package (i tracked earlier today that said on time delivery scheduled 1/16/2018) now tracking is unavailable and its an hour wait time to speak to anyone when you call the 800 number? worst mailing service i have ever had to deal with hands down nobody else is even...

Prior to checking me out she was rushing people screaming. Complaining about how she wanted to go home. Also she charged me double boxes, I have previously sent bigger packages international. She stated I would have to send 2 small packages. A service that would have costed me $118 ended up costing $240. I should not have paid for it. But I rarely have time to send between working hours. I seriously don't understand why they don't require employees to be nice to customers. They expect courtesy from fast food employees, but not people who work for the government. I will not be returning to this location even though I live very close. If you must visit this location proceed with caution. If I find my receipt I will update my post and name drop her, she should learn how to treat people, or ask for shorter hours if her job bothers her so much.
