The place was very nice but for the wait time for entry giving instructions and entry code was the worse . My money was taken from my account and I was given the address and WiFi information but sat outside the location for close to 2 hours waiting for entry codes . The host wasn’t responding at all and when I called air bnb they tried to argue with me about giving me a refund so I can find somewhere else . The guy that I was speaking with acted as if he didn’t want to get his supervisor and kept telling me to wait for a response from the host which I had to get a little loud with him for him to understand that I’m not waiting to get me a supervisor . If someone ask for a supervisor then that should be the end of the conversation and process to contact the supervisor and not argue with a paying customer ! Another thing was they give you a confirmation number and all this information after taking your money but wants you to do an e-check in for entry instructions/codes (never had to do so ever before as long as I’ve been booking on Airbnb) which is very ridiculous because that should be done first before taking people money and giving an address and WiFi information , be serious what am I going to do with WiFi information if I can’t even get into the place ? I literally waited close to 2 hours to get in and they had the nerve to tell me they’ll give me back $50 to go to a cafe or something while I wait and I promise y’all that I never received anything back ! Overall once I finally got inside everything was as said to be but I will NEVER book with Evonify ever again ! If I see their name I’m running and have the nerve to try to give me a $10 Amazon gift card ! Disgusting and should be ashamed for stealing people hard earned money but they don’t care at all ! BOOK WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN...

I arrived at the unit and the air conditioning was not working. In the middle of a heat wave. I emailed evonify and have still not received a reply. In the morning i called the number with no answer. Immediately was texted by the same number saying we are sorry for missing your call. I explained the situation and was asked if i had tried to adjust the thermostat which i did with no luck. They asked if they could enter the unit if i was not there, to which i replied i prefered they let me know when they will arrive and i will try to meet them on site. This was at 9:57am. I followed up at 11:23 and did not get a reply. I messaged again at 12:15 asking for an update, to which they replied "No updates yet but we'll let you know as soon as we have an update. I followed up again at 1:50pm to which they responded "we'll make sure to press some urgency and let you know" At 2:28pm i was told they will do a quick follow up, no response. At 5:42pm i msged saying i am making an assumption that no one has likely come to the unit since i did not receive any contact to request access to the unit it was 90 degrees at this point. At this point i began calling multiple times, on the 4th or 5th try i got an immediate text msg saying they are sorry for missing my calls and inconvenience caused and that they are actively communicated and eported the ac issues to their maintenance team. At 7:56pm i msged asking if they will reimburse me if i need to purchase a fan to which they replied their maintenance guy will deliver a fan tonight. At 10:30pm i followed up with the status of the fan to which they replied let me follow up on this request. It is now 11pm and i have not received an...

Bad experience. Very clearly they don’t care about the guest’s experience and it’s all about money. I won’t stay at an Evonify property again—it’s not worth the headache.

  1. The unit was dirty. Pasta sauce handprint on fridge, huge boogers on curtains, trash/dust under the furniture, hair EVERYWHERE—on every surface, engrained in towels/sheets, hair piles/dust bunnies on the floor. To think guests pay an $80 cleaning fee.
  2. There was no blanket for the pull-out bed and we stayed here when it was 35°F at night. We messaged them about this shortly after check-in. The kept promising to deliver bedding for our first night, then after many hours said they couldn’t actually come that night & they would compensate us. We had to use jackets as blankets the first night. After 4 days of waiting for the “compensation” & only getting a dismissive response with no real update (“your claim is with our finance team”), I filed a claim directly through Airbnb & got a measly $25 refund lol. Note this all happened AFTER we requested extra blankets during booking, but the host ignored the request and didn’t even provide bedding for both beds.
  3. The pull-out bed is very uncomfortable, thin, and has springs sticking out.

I am writing this review to warn future guests about our experience with this company through Airbnb. We booked this property specifically for my daughter's medical needs, and I informed the host of this in advance. The listing was deceptive, showing a beautiful lobby which inferred there was an elevator, but it was a lie. The apartment was up three flights of ourdoor stairs, which my daughter could not use. The host was unreasonable and cruel, displaying prejudice against special needs kids that can't go upstairs. They refused to provide a full refund even though we had to cancel and were unable to stay at the property at all. We were left stranded for hours, and to make matters worse, the air conditioning was broken, forcing us to sit in an 85-degree room while we tried to resolve the issue. There were also bugs in the fridge. This company took our money for an unusable and unsafe property, and then refused to do the right thing. Do not trust their listings or their hospitality!! Their VRBO and Airbnb listings are not accurate. Even though canceled, they did not refund us the $765 we paid for a 5-night stay.

We had booked a stay through air bnb that was managed by evonify. Upon arrival to our rental the building it self was basically condemned - human feces were present at the entrance, caution tape through the entire court yard and along where railings should be. The suite itself was on the 3rd level of the building and there was visual structural issues with wood and pieces missing in the foundation and the railings. We have a 2 year old toddler so this was by no means a place we felt safe to have her. The doors and windows were also not to code so to leave our personal belongings or to feel safe sleeping here were out of the question. There is a specific section in the air bnb app noted “safety and property” which had zero mention of the structural/exterior concerns. Evonify refused to reimburse us for any of the cost of this stay- we didn’t step foot in our suite and had to find other arrangements last minute. We hope no one ever has to experience such disappointing customer service as we had and hosts that refuse to acknowledge their lack of transparency into their rentals. Please see pictures.

We stayed in an Evonify apartment in downtown boston and it was a great place in the perfect location for our family of four’s vacation. It was centrally located in the downtown area with super quick and easy access to the subway. The view was incredible as our unit was on the corner right across the street from the boston commons and boston public park. Communication about check in and out were thorough and we had zero problems with accessing the unit. The building felt safe and secure with access to laundry on the same floor of the building. We had everything we needed, including plenty of linens, towels and paper products for the bathroom/kitchen. Evonify provided a perfect landing spot for a trip and we highly recommend!

We stayed in an Evonify apartment in downtown boston and it was a great place in the perfect location for our family of four’s vacation. It was centrally located in the downtown area with super quick and easy access to the subway. The view was incredible as our unit was on the corner right across the street from the boston commons and boston public park. Communication about check in and out were thorough and we had zero problems with accessing the unit. The building felt safe and secure with access to laundry on the same floor of the building. We had everything we needed, including plenty of linens, towels and paper products for the bathroom/kitchen. Evonify provided a perfect landing spot for a trip and we highly recommend!
