We've gone to Muncie Dragway every year for Night Of Fire for 14 years. The event itself is always great! But, unfortunately every year the facilities at the track continue to get worse. The pit side of the track used to have Restrooms but, since they were not maintained, they stopped functioning a couple years ago & now they no longer exist. The only Restrooms left on one side of the track are falling apart & barely function. This year the ladies restroom had 2 out of 3 functioning toilets(same as last year); barely running water out of the only sink; the only hand soap dispenser was broken; the only hand dryer was broken & no paper towels! They now have portables but, only on one side of the track. During the event we couldn't hear anything the commentator said the entire race because, the loud speaker was broken. Instead of having 2 lanes of actual drag racing, the cars ran solo down one side of the track. I can only assume it was because the right lane broke since, I couldn't hear the announcement from the broken speaker. The bleachers are so old & far from safe! The wooden beams are so thin, it's like walking the plank! For $20 a ticket with a packed track every year for just this 1 event, you would think they could invest at least a little in maintenance for...
Read moreWe love this track and it has something for everyone who loves drag racing. They have a great junior dragster program and bracket series with very good payouts in all classes. If your kid runs a junior, you need to be here! The track personnel are ALL awesome and very friendly. If you get hungry, you will love their food and it is very reasonable. Like street car, heads up, or arm drop racing? This is the place for you! They have so many fun events that it will keep you busy all season long. The current track owner and his wife are awesome and will personally call you back if you leave a message for them. This is a great family place and I am proud to call it our...
Read moreThis place used to be pretty decent. It is starting to get really run down and could use some updated and repaired seating. Trying to leave after a special event such as night of fire can be somewhat of a nightmare if you show up early and have to park in the back. For the good things about it, it's cheap entertainment, with pretty fair priced concessions when they're open. They also allow carry in food, soda, and beer. You can also walk around and check all the cars out on the pit side and get to know some of...
