Due to severe weather, we have had to call in twice in the last 6 weeks to get technicians out here. Allen in customer service handled my calls both times, and has been helpful in troubleshooting and getting a tower crew scheduled to come fix our damaged equipment fairly quickly. Nathan and Levi (tower crew technicians) have been awesome both times, very professional and efficient, and very patient when explaining what's going on and how they're solving the problem. The first time was a lightning strike, and they got everything repaired in a single visit. I'm not sure what happened this time, but the internet went out during a thunderstorm, and Nathan and Levi came out again, getting everything replaced in surprisingly short single visit once again. This kind of exceptional service and competence is RARE these days, so a huge thank you to Nathan, Levi, and Allen for being so awesome!
UPDATE: had another service call, again fir something beyond 360 Broadband's control. Nathan and Levi came out again, and figured it out very quickly. Internet was functioning again super quickly. Read moreWe have had 360 communications for a few years now and have had awesome service through them. Installation was easy and the guy explained everything in detail and went over placement with me so I knew exactly where everything was going to go and he ran the line into the house exactly where I wanted it and did a neat and tidy job. We've only dropped service maybe once every few months but it either comes back on in a few minutes or I message through Facebook or call thier service line and within an hour or so, many times just a few minutes, the problem has been repaired. I think 1 time it took a few hours for a part to be replaced at the main antenna in town, so very impressive because that was in the wee hours of the morning and it was back up and running before most people were awake (im a night owl). I have the 20mps speed package and have no complaints streaming movies and using multiple devices at the same time. It's not quite enough for serious gamers but for your average online computer gaming and playing on my occulus it's great as well as hosting zoom calls. Has not gone out durring bad weather either. We've used several internet providers here in McAlester and 360 has them all...
Read more1 year later review edit. Equipment reboot issue was fixed and I would gladly take it back because now the service is terrible. Our upload speed is running less than 1 mbs most days when we are home in the afternoons and so we are not even able to use it. Multiple service tickets in and nothing solved. Told I am getting a perfect signal yet a perfect signal doesn’t equate to no internet. Today it was suggested I build a line of sight tower in my yard instead of used the service I have that worked perfectly before and works perfectly in the morning and late night hours just not when everyone in the area is home in the afternoons trying to use their service. For $100 a month I don’t think expecting my internet to actually work during the hours I am home and awake is out of line but yet it seems to be impossible at this point. One year ago review..
