2/11/21. Blackburn was scheduled to come first thing on a Friday morning. On Thursday around the lunch hour they called to see if they could come that afternoon. I was happy to have that option. Trevor showed up and was immediately good with my dogs. After telling him my greatest concern was my ventless gas fireplace and that I’d never used it, he went to work trying to get it lit and checking out everything. He explained how it worked and made me much more comfortable with using it now. He then switched over to my clogged sink and water pressure issues and got those taken care of with no mess or surprises. He checked many things to diagnose my pressure issues. Finally he cleaned aerators at sink that were down to a trickle and then he was on his way. Great guy, super helpful and very knowledgeable. Another great experience.

12/31/19. I called Blackburn around noon on December 31 after spending the morning trying to figure out what was wrong and what to do about my low water pressure and almost non-existent hot water. My first contact was with Kaitlyn and she was very kind and understood my problem and went to work to see if they could get someone out to my home quickly for just the diagnosis of my problem. She connected me to David, the Service Manager, who said he could be out as soon as Kaitlyn entered the service order for.a $69 diagnosis fee. Upon going ahead with any repair needed, the call fee would be waived on the next call. This sounded like a great deal to me and so the call was scheduled. Little did I know how much value I would actually receive for my $69! David arrived and went to works evaluating the water heater, then the shower where I first had a problem, the kitchen sink and so on. The problem ended up being a washer that had moved out of place and was actually impeding the water flow. He replaced the shower head including applying more plumbers tape. He check each faucet’s aerator and cleaned them. He then tackled what is the most horrible job for me, unclogging my bathroom sink drain. He did as much as he could but it was going to require removing some parts and with the amount of water standing, it was going to take a while and longer than I wanted to spend. After a couple other of my minor requests, he went through a checklist in each of my plumbing areas and wrote down everything that needed a little work. It was excellent for my needs. I got a handful of estimates & I was wanting to go with Blackburn they have always treated me polite down home as they truly are, they remember you call you by name I’m thankful at the end of the day they beat all the competition for my decision. I nearly went with Hunter Super Techs they can sell you on duct cleaning that’s a brush with exact AC unit as Blackburn, yet higher cost. I purchased 3.5 ton Lennox Elite & I’m cold at 75 deg it is amazing! I’m in a 1973 Spanish brick &mortar 1700 sq ft lake house I purchased with an on its last leg AC. A kind professional at Blackburn talked over the phone with me really took time kindly through my confusion by explaining different duct work. I got Stanley Steamer with my new Blackburn AC they clean the ducts INTENSE an in depth process more than the brush machine Hunter super tech company nearly but thank goodness didn’t sell me on. I’m blessed Blackburn AC helped me in my confusion with my ducts concern being in an older home in nature too, were so kind, they are not salesmen they really give you their full attention&time helped me find my BEST decision:) I’m so happy with & blessed to do business with the KINDEST CO.
