Berkot's Super Foods — Local services in Dwight

I recently visited Berkot's Super Foods with the intention of finding a specific item that I had been searching for. Unfortunately, I couldn't locate it on my own. As luck would have it, Tim, the assistant manager, happened to be walking by at that very moment. I asked if he had a quick second to help me, and he graciously guided me to the right area where I could find the item I was looking for.

But Tim didn't stop there. While he guided me to the area I needed to be in he noticed I was wearing a NASCAR t shirt and talked with me a little about his passion for Motorsports too. I thought that was really nice. I didn't feel like just a customer, he wanted to discuss my interests and share his.

Wednesday April 30 at 5pm. I Called ahead to place a deli order of a pound of ham and a half pound of cheese. The lady that answered the deli phone put me on hold, but I could hear her swearing while checking to see if they still had the ham. I placed my order. She asked what time I wanted it. I said whenever is good for you, thinking it would be a half hour or something. She tells me 630 pm. I said to her, it's 5 now and you're saying an hour and a half? She said yes, that she was the only worker and was busy. I cancelled my order. Went in a bit later and was going to order, if there wasn't a line. There wasn't a line, but I heard her yelling at customers asking if they wanted sandwich stuff because she was shutting down for the night. That was at 7pm. An hour before the deli closes. Totally unprofessional over the phone and in person. I will make sure to avoid the deli whenever she's working, which was probably her end...

I have only shopped at the Dwight location one time.It was the night of 11/3/18.They had a 2lb package of sliced Italian hot capicola for just 5 bucks,and great quality btw.The cashier was kind of short and rude with me,but maybe she was having a bad day.We all have them.But I bought a pack of Italian rolls 6 for 2.39.When I got back to the motel I seen the mold spots on the rolls.Date said sell by 10/29,now its 11/3 and they still had them out for would be buyers.That could have been bad if my kids would have got to them before i noticed the mold.Walmart sells same 6 rolls for 99 cents and they went mold for at least 4 days.This store needs to review what they have on their shelves.It could have a very unhealthy impact on...
