I've been a counselor here for the past 3 years and will be returning this year for my 4th. Even as an adult working here, Cayuga has taught me so much about friendships, has helped me be more confident, and has given me so many experiences I would never have otherwise. This camp has become like a second home to me, and the people are like family. Every year I look forward to the summers and being able to get back to such a special place. There's so many activities and unique experiences that everybody will have something they love! Cayuga truly is very special!🩷

Our fifth grader went to Camp Cayuga for the first time and had an absolute blast. She made new friends who she still chats with, and we have already signed her up for a longer session next summer. I only wish we knew about Camp Cayuga sooner!

Camp Cayuga. Where to start. It is a truly a home away from home for campers and staff alike. As a member of the Senior Staff for the summer of 2015, I was able to get a good look at the amazing amount of work and attention to detail that makes Cayuga as speciall a place as it is. From the moment that a camper either arrives for pickup at an airport, or arrives on camp property, safety is our first priority. Our campers are looked after by dedicated and talented staff who come from all over the country, and all over the world. Our activities program is extensive. From our archery and riflery ranges, to our quad course and climbing wall, paintball fields, skate-park, huge lake, etc., our campers are able to customize their daily activity schedule to whatever they feel like doing on any given day. I believe that one of the major things that contributes to Cayuga's unique experience is the quality staff that that love their job. And more, the feeling of family is unmistakable and the campers pick up on that. This is why so many campers and staff choose to return to Camp Cayuga summer after summer. The camp's owner, Mr. Buynak, has created an amazing place that I am privileged to be a part of. I can't wait until summer of 2016 so we can do it all again. I hope that you consider Camp Cayuga for your child's summer destination, I guarantee the summer...

This was my 14-year-old daughter's first summer at Camp Cayuga, after attending other camps in previous years—and without a doubt, it was her favorite! She enjoyed it so much that we've already registered her for 2026. She stayed for the final two weeks of the season and loved everything: the cabin, the staff, the counselors—who were incredibly attentive—the daytime activities, and the evening parties. She’s passionate about animals and art, so horseback riding and the crafts and painting sessions were a perfect fit. One standout feature, which sets Camp Cayuga apart from her previous experiences, is the way activities are tailored by age group. She appreciated being able to join the teen-specific programs, which better matched her interests and helped her connect with peers her age. The check-in and check-out process was impressively smooth. When we arrived, two friendly staff members were already waiting with strollers to help carry her bags to the cabin. And when we returned two weeks later, all her belongings were neatly packed and ready for pickup. A small but meaningful gesture: during her stay, it was her mom’s birthday, and the camp allowed her to make a quick call to say hello. That flexibility meant the world to my wife—and we hope she’ll be able to do the same next year! We’re already counting down to 2026. See you then,...

Camp Cayuga proved to be a great experience for my ten year-old son. Not only was he happier than I’d ever seen him at pick-up - he looked so ā€˜well!’ - he also exuded a new confidence and healthy autonomy that I was surprised to see. It was like he not only matured at camp, but he did so happily. The most surprising effect of the camp, and one I never anticipated possible, was his new love for healthy activities like outdoor play, tennis and mountain biking, coupled with a new disdain for video games (which prior to attending Cayuga, held great importance for him). Abstaining from video games for a month during Cayuga has had a lasting effect on my son, as it’s been nearly 3 months since he’s been back home and he still prioritizes actual play over video games -a total change in him and one for which I’m so grateful! Cayuga brought out the best in him, and he made good friends while there. He talked with lots of energy and zeal about his camp experiences for the rest of the summer, which is why we’re sending him back again this year and have made it...
