Dollar General — Local services in Dyer

Update: This store has went downhill the last year or so! Used to be my favorite local DG 😞. The biggest two problems: 1. new manager doesn’t seem to care about customers anymore and that is absolutely reflected by the staff!!! 2. Good luck getting the cashier on duty to the front to check you out, countless times the last few months it’s pretty common for a cashier not to even say be right there until the line is already 3-5 people deep! And half the time when they say be right there, they really mean in five minutes or so. My first review was about 6 years ago I think, so it definitely needed an update! If you’re local save yourself some time and headaches and go to DG in Mulberry or Alma!! A great dollar General! Friendly staff! Well...

Nice store. Just always has items marked on sale with sighns on shelf. Then charge higher price at checkout. When you call them on it they will say well its not in the system. And have to call mgr. For refund. This takes forever. What do the mgr. Do here other than stand outside the store smoking cigarettes & talking on cell phone ? That is where you find them for refunds or price...

The layout of this store is very pleasant and it's location is convenient as well. It's nice to have a store to visit without having to go to Alma or Mulberry for most simple things. They have a good selection and the staff has always been friendly to me as well. Definitely one of the better Dollar General stores that I've visited...
