I recently purchased running boards from Rough Country for my truck. I chose the BA2 Running Boards because they were listed as being 85" long on their website. I wanted this length because it allows for a step up when reaching into the bed of the truck near the cab. When they arrived promptly install them. It was raining but I just wanted to get it done. Upon completion of the install I notice that they look short. I measure the longest point to longest point and they are only 78.75" long. That extra 6 plus would have been the step up I was looking for at the truck bed. I open up chat tech support. The AI bot didn't care and said returning installed product is not an option. I then start chatting with a "real" person. They offered to send me a return label. Keep in mind the box is now trashed from the rain and I am expected to uninstall, purchase a new box, and ship them back. Waiting who knows how long to get a refund. I've often been burned on returns so I offered to keep them for a 50% discount. This is more than fair for a falsely advertised product. I also 'had' a long list of items to purchase over the next few months for my truck. They said they cannot offer a discount. On 10/13 I called their customer service. I explained the issue and they ultimately offered to return the running boards and offer me a discount on another purchase I made. However, they were not disclosing what that discount would be. All the while seeming to shrug off and disregard the fact that the running boards were advertised to be a half a foot longer than they actually are. Correcting your mistakes and doing what is right for a customer is a small price to pay for customer loyalty. Now, I will be returning all purchases and will shop elsewhere. I am glad I found this out at only around $1000 into my truck kit. There are PLENTY of other companies selling these products. Rough Country...

Well where to start. I own a 2016 Ford f-150 4x4. I have the RC front bumper, RC back bumper, RC suspension, Wheels and tires bought from RC, bed cover bought from RC, and seat covers bought from RC. So the reason im saying this is to help you understand I have been a loyal customer of RC for many years and I beleived in the brand. So I started having some problems quite a while ago with my front bumper. It appears it wasnt prepped correctly before it was powder coated. It started showing little rust circles and as times goes on more and more are appearing as I will show in pictures. The back bumper and everything else I have purchased is wearing just fine. I get comments on my truck all the time. "Nice truck but its a shame about that front bumper." I contacted Rough country about my problem. I explained I needed help to understand how to fix my bumper. Powder coating it again would cost about as much as it would to replace the whole thing so what can I do? Well I waited a few days and finally got this responce. "There is a textured paint offered by rustoleum that matches our powder coat." Thats is all I got. I honestly expected more. I have Thousands of dollars of Rough country parts and I get one little line? Thats no help at all. Im sorry Rough Country but to me thats unacceptable.

Update: I contacted them again and they totally let me down and dont care about my business. I have given them my...

I recently purchased a back under seat storage organizer from Rough Country for my 2024 Nissan Titan, and I can confidently say that the entire experience exceeded my expectations. First off, the product arrived quickly, which is always a relief when ordering truck accessories online. It was well-packaged, with no damage to the item or the box, which speaks to Rough Country's attention to detail in shipping.

As for the product itself, the storage organizer fit perfectly in my 2024 Nissan Titan, exactly as described. It was easy to install and provides plenty of space for keeping my tools and other gear organized and out of sight. I appreciated that the item lived up to the description and that there were no surprises in terms of quality or fit.

Overall, the Rough Country website was easy to navigate, and the checkout process was straightforward. I also appreciated the order tracking and prompt email updates throughout the process. If you're in the market for truck accessories, I highly recommend giving Rough Country a shot. The combination of fast shipping, careful packaging, and a high-quality product means I'll definitely be buying from them again...

Quality product at a fair price! I purchased the oval nerf bars (#21002) for my 2024 Silverado 2500 and they were shipped quickly. They were very easy to install and fit correctly. Torque specs were not included so I had to call tech support twice. Both calls were answered promptly and professionally. The first rep emailed me torque specs. The included hardware is stamped "8.8" on the bolt heads but the torque spec sheet was confusing so I called back but the second rep stated that he didn't know anything about the torque specs and in the past, he has just "got em tight" and then checked the tightness the next day after driving. Well apparently I'm stronger than that guy because I broke the first bolt off when tightening it. So there are 8 bolts holding the brackets on the driver side and 7 bolts holding the brackets on the passenger side. Not a huge deal but accurate, non-ambiguous torque specs would be helpful.
