I recently shopped for a mattress with my elderly mother and was very disappointed with how she was treated. We were trying to support a local business. Maybe not always a good idea. After trying a few, my mother chose the one she wanted and purchased both the mattress and box springs. As soon as the delivery guys put it on the bed frame they knew it was not going to work and suggested she switch it to a low rise box spring. It was several inches above the footboard and it was very difficult for me(5â9â) to get on the bed. We noticed the tag on the mattress said it could be used with or without a foundation. Before they left we were already on the phone with the store. Based on the tag stating we didnât need a box spring, she asked to return it and spend the money toward something else in the store. Mom didnât want Tracy to lose any of her commission. This request was denied and she was told her only option was the low rise box spring which would need to be ordered. At this point the new mattress/box spring had only been on her bed for 30 min. She was stuck with it and had to stand on a chair to climb in the bed. She and my father get up a few times every night. They are 80 and 83. SAFETY HAZARD! The next day she eventually spoke to Tracy and was again told the only option was to trade for the low rise. She could not give her a delivery date unless she purchased another item!! Seriously?! She had already spent $1,100!! So for a week, she used a chair to climb in the bed!! She now has the low rise box spring and itâs still too high. They will most likely end up giving it away. 1. When you try out a mattress in the store, it may be a LOT lower than the one you get. Salesperson probably wonât mention that. 2. If the mattress you choose doesnât require a box spring for support, the salesperson probably wonât mention that either. After all itâs more commission for them. 3. Once the delivery guys bring it through the front door, ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS! This would have also been useful information. We were not told this, nor was it anywhere on the receipt. This is all very poor customer service. With so many options, we did not have to choose to do business with a locally owned store.

   Read moreCalled about washing machine not working the sent someone out to check it, i was told the pump was out and informed they no longer make the pump, 1 they do still make it i called to maker of my machine. 2 it was due for some warranty work so Samsung sent someone out. It didnt need a new pump, the hose was stopped up. Once that was removed its worked fine ever since. I called to inform Tony what was found , He got ugly and told me go somewhere else should i need anymore assistance and hung up on me. So professional.
