Formal Complaint To: Walmart Eagle Mountain Store Management Subject: Complaint Regarding Incorrect Sale and Poor Customer Service Dear Walmart Management, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an incident that occurred at your Eagle Mountain, Utah store. During my recent visit, I purchased a 12-pack that was clearly labeled and branded as Monster Energy Drink. The package was located in the refrigerated beverage section. I paid approximately $19 for the product. However, once I returned to my vehicle, I noticed that the cans were not energy drinks but alcoholic beverages. I immediately went back to the store to request an exchange. I was directed to the customer service desk, where I was informed that due to federal regulations, the store could not exchange or refund alcoholic products once sold. I understand this policy; however, the issue here is that the product was incorrectly displayed and sold as an energy drink, and I was not asked for identification during the purchase, which contradicts the same federal regulations cited by your staff. What concerns me most is not only the incorrect sale of the product but also the dismissive and ironic attitude of the employees who assisted me, both at the checkout station and at customer service. I do not consume alcohol, and I specifically asked the staff to dispose of the product for me. I left the store feeling frustrated and disrespected. This complaint is not merely about the monetary loss of $19, but about the lack of care, accountability, and professionalism shown by your staff. I expect Walmart to take responsibility for mislabeling and improper product handling and tot ensure that similar situations do not occur to other customers. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a response and...

Read moreThis new Walmart is nice but I am not happy about my last experience being treated like I was stealing something. I have Walmart plus with scan and go and went to self check out to scan my barcode and leave. Sometimes the app will say an associate needs to come do a check, but this time it didn't, but the employee still came over because my son and I were the only ones around I guess and she had nothing better to do. She started tapping on the screen which didn't do anything because I was already done checking out and then she asked me what I was doing I told her I had checked out, she told me I had to show her my receipt in the app and check my items - I had like 5 items in my hands. I asked why and she wouldn't leave me alone. I informed her that this never happened before unless an employee was prompted to check my stuff. I am a 37 year old mom who was treated like a theif in front of my child. I was less than happy with this lady. All in all the store is clean and organized well. And no she was not the loss prevention employee at the front door who randomly checks people's stuff she was the employee at self check out and she needs better training. I'm not one to complain a but this was so frustrating. If you're going to treat people like they are stealing maybe don't have a scan and go option that I pay money for every month. I pay for this to get in and out of the store easily...
