We got married here on July 25, 2020 and it was amazing. I was worried at first about the size and how the rooms were split but it all ended up working out. We were able to fit a little under 100 people in the venue and it worked out just fine. The bartenders were awesome, the owner was super easy to work with, and everything just flowed so well. Renting was super flexible and we couldn't beat the price for the amount of time we got to rent the place out. Tables, chairs, and table cloths included in the rent helps a lot. Food was very tasty but very pricey for a small Iowa town.

Service was terrible. If she was new, management should tell us. I am not sure if management watches their workers but they should be, to help them. From not getting our drinks for at least 15 minutes after being seated (2 waters, 1 coke and 1 beer), to not being offered a salad for each entree without us asking, to receiving our entree before our salad and receiving our salad because we asked about it. I really can't see my husband and I going back nor well known the couple we were with.

Management please do something. I hope you make it cause the food was delicious! Compliments...

Attended a diner meeting upstairs. Very first time there. Not impressed with the waitress or menu. Was written by hand with marker on piece of paper hardly ledgible. Took salad order, but not entree. Sent a handmade map of table around for you to sign up for your meal, menu was lying on table elsewhere. Was a total joke for service. Same waitress serving upstairs also doing downstairs?? Took so long to get food they served cake in a to go box!!! Had drink in bar downstairs and that service was good. Not a great...
