BRP is rightfully one of the top discgolf courses in the country. It is 27 holes of beautifully landscaped terrain builtby the owners who I believe actually own a landscaping company too.
In the middle of the course is the snack shack, which you'll come across several times along your journey through their woods. In the summer the shack offers drinks, snack foods, burgers and brats. BRP also hosts night disc outings regularly and occasionally musical events.
Occasionally you'll meet a wandering dog roaming the course at their leisure, they're often super friendly and never seem to go after your discs.
Don't be surprised by the day charge of $8, it's totally worth it! There's also a season pass available if you want it.
If you're a fan of discing and you haven't tried the course you should absolutely check it out, and I would venture to say that if you're within an hours drive you owe it to yourself to get out and try it at least once.
Update - 5/29/2022: The snack shack is stocked even better than ever! The course has of course changed up a bit. The long narrow 'Plinko' hole is now #3.
Get out to BRP asap! It's going to be a...

It's so well maintained and continued to surprise me hole after hole with creative use of the landscape and encourages a full range of disc golfing technique and shot style.
They even have 10+ foot rakes near the water spots so you can find your confidence and chuck it straight into the drink, like me, and still have a prayer of retrieving your disc while keeping your dignity.
I actually felt like $h!t the day I decided to play BRP, but I had to jump on the opportunity since I found myself in the area and the weather was perfect. Was doubtful I'd get through 18 let alone 27, ended up doing 1.5 rounds.
The folks behind the design and maintenance of this place ought to be given some juicy Minnesota tax funds and create another few courses that do indeed...
ย ย ย Read moreTough to find a better disc golf experience. This is an incredibly well maintained and well designed course. Beyond simply looking nice, the course features a pro-shop, stations for driving warm-up and putting practice (with distance markers), a snack shack in the middle of the course, and disc retrieving rakes at every water hazard. I'm not used to paying to play disc golf, but this was well worth the money.
There aren't downsides really, but I will say that you should bring a couple of friends for this course. Because of regular league events, it's not really a course that's geared towards individual play.
Another notable feature about the course is the frequent dog encounters. This improved my enjoyment of the course, but I know people who would find a German Shepherd wandering up to them in the woods to be an uncomfortable experience. Just be aware...
