This is one of my favorite stores on the South Shore. So good infact, I almost would rather keep it as much of a secret as possible, but the owner and employees are such great guys, and this is such a great little store, that they deserve all the good publicity and free advertising that I can give them. Let me give some advice to anyone who hasn't yet discovered this little gem, DONT LET THE NAME FOOL YOU!! This store would be more true to it's mantra if it were named Land of Amazing Deals on All The Coolest Stuff You've Always Wanted But Couldn't Afford, Untill Now. ...ok so that's a little long, but seriously, they have so much more than just electronics. Vintage BMX bikes? Check. Amazing selection of second hand tools? Check. Chainsaws and power equipment? Check. Vast collection of both newer and retro video games? Check. Compound bows? Check. Guitars and musical instruments? Check. The list goes on and on. To be honest, the name does fit the bill just fine because the majority of the items in stock actually are (or at least contain some form of) "electronics". I just wanted to point out that they have so much more to offer then the name implies. I mentioned tools. As an automotive repair technician, this section of the store is probably the main reason I can't get enough of this place. We're not talking some cardboard box in the corner filled with rusty mismatched harbour freight sockets for you to rummage through. Oh no, these guys know good tools and that's the majority of what they stock. Brands like Snap-On, Mac, Matco, Gear Wrench, Greenlee, Kline, Makita, Milwaukee, DeWalt and so forth. They have shelf after shelf of quality power tools and nail guns, most of them housed inside there original cases, ready for work. There are two giant glass display cases filled to the brim with every mechanics dream. Socket sets, wrenches, ratchets, you name it. All from the best names in the business. -And the prices? Incredible! We're talking a third, sometimes even a quarter of original retail price. The best part is, you never know what you might find. Week to week the inventory updates and new products come in daily. Everything from HiFi stereo equipment to LED TVs, from turntables to car audio. I could spend all day listing the awesome products and deals I've seen at this oasis of savings, but I will leave you to discover the rest...

The owner Ben is a conman hell bent on making stuff up.
I purchase a laptop from Land Of Electronics, the version of Windows 7 that it came with is/was illegal (Pirated) and the computer only came with a Windows XP license (Located at the bottom of the laptop). I brought it back to the store and the owner said he could not do anything for me do to it being passed the 30 day return period. The owner said he could re-load Windows 7 for $50. I ask if I could have the license reference with serial after it has been done and he said it does not come with one. He claimed Microsoft gave him a disc that lets him install Windows unlimited times and that is what he uses.
I brought the laptop to a local tech company and they said it is illegal for a company to sell a Windows computer without a legal license (Serial/Key) with it. They proceeded to inspect the laptop and found that none of the device drivers were installed properly and the motherboard’s graphics chip was going bad.
Well it turns out the version of Windows installed is/was a pirated volume license for enterprise use and not meant for resale or use outside the registered license owner’s organization.
Last… The real owner of Land Of Electronics is Benjamin Ellis. He owns all three of the stores. Of those three, includes the flea market store. But, for some reason he claims to only be a part time manager. Something to...
