I love this place and my whole family shop here. This is my favorite thrift store. These ladies are my family. I normally wouldn't write a negative review because they're all volunteers. However, in saying that, and this makes me really sad to write this. Today, when I went into the shop, I had to say one of the only things that I enjoyed was seeing Alice. The local thrift shop celebrity. The gentleman working there was very pleasant but the other woman. I have to say it was not a good experience. I and the other local regulars are used to a friendly experience. But with her, it wasn't unfortunately. She kept rushing me even though I got there at 12 when they opened and was there for an hour. She kept asking me over and over again if I was ready. Even when I was just walking from one side of the store to the next. It was quite annoying and frustrating. She then didn't get to know as a customer like everyone is accustomed to, which makes it feel local and homey. But it made it a kind of direct and to the point of experience. She then treated the shop like it was a boutique. Marking things up based on brand making new people buy less, which isn't how it's done. So people were confused because they were using the prices on the wall, and she was saying let me take a look at those and charge you based on brand name. Making up her own prices. I watched as she told old and new customers like strangers. She didn't get to know you, and when you asked what the price is or tried to say, can you take a dollar off or so. She was like it's in great condition, and it's a famous name brand. She was marking everything 10.00 and being very firm and snobbish when she said no. She was taking things out of the bag and starting her own pile to take home, not even hang it up for customers. She had first pick. When someone asked for a dollar off and she denied them. I said it's all going to a good cause. But was instant on it being that price. So they lost a sale, and the woman who was a regular put it back. I was shocked. That is my favorite store that I rave about becoming a boutique and things being more expensive than at some goodwill. I will only shop when she isn't there. I don't complain, and I like everyone who works there, especially Alice. But my experience today left a rotten taste in my mouth. If it wasn't for Alice, I would have left much sooner. I know she was trying, but it came off as very rushed and snobbish. She was putting white tags on all the purses, and she said that was the problem with this place. There are no price tags. What I wanted to say is that this isn't a boutique. It's a friendly, inclusive spot that is local. Where you come in and get treated like family. There are no prices on the bags because there is a list and stickers. I can't believe I'm saying this but I will not shop there if she is there. You will have lost my business that day. I'm very disappointed in my local shop experience today. Im only writing this review because I hope this gets to the people running this place, and they can...

The women volunteering there were so sweet and kind. Definitely small, but they're able to pack a lot of variety...
