Went here for a wedding. A good location, great ambiance, beautiful farm, and most of the staff were nice. Execution and communication were lacking a bunch! I would come back for a regular visit to the farm/market but I would not have a wedding here… yet. They could use some more staff or someone in charge of announcing whats available to guests. The wedding was outside in the grass area and once the ceremony was over, they had everyone just standing in the grass next to a small booth of drinks (beers and seltzers). We were all confused as to what was going on and what we were doing. It was uncomfortable for the ladies (allergies for some & heels for others). This part was just a waste of time and it took time from people being able to get to the cocktail hr which then led to people not getting to the reception area soon enough. After standing in the grass we were ushered to cocktail hour but again didnt have much communication from staff and this building did not have nearly enough seating for the guests. Most people were uncomfortably standing barely able to enjoy food because there was not enough places to your drink down. I was able to throw my drink back so that I could get food. All the hours devours were good but i would recommend getting rid of the crab cakes and adding a chicken option. Another downfall, there was only 1 bathroom for all genders so there was always a line. Finally, we were sent to walk to the reception area building but again everyone got the building and stood around because there was no direction or communication from staff. We eventually found a board on the ground with the table numbers and names and went inside. Again, we waited and there was no one on the mic giving instructions. The bridal/groom party walk in, dance, cut the cake, speeches, dinner, then we danced for a couple hours until they just rushed us out. The womens bathroom didnt have toilet paper after 20minutes, which was bizarre. It’s like they didnt restock it prior to people getting there. It wasnt until everyone left that i realized 1. We never got our desert or wedding cake 2. There was a smores kit on the table that didnt get used 3. There might have been a photo booth station that we didnt get to. Overall it was a nice evening, but i feel bad for bride/groom that they put so much money into this and this place couldn’t execute well. They didnt do any announcements other than the initial ones for the bridal party. So guests really missed out on alot. 5 stars for ambiance, decorations, etc. 4 stars for staff kindness/friendliness (there was only 1 gentleman at the end that wasnt friendly and didnt smile when it was time for sparklers. He seemed like he just wanted everyone to leave) 1 star for Preparedness, Communication, attentiveness,...

If you’re reading this because you’re considering Cecil Creek Farm for your wedding or event—stop searching, you’ve already found the place.

From the very first time we visited Cecil Creek over two years ago, we knew it was the one. Before we even started our tour, we were welcomed with samples of their chicken and pork (they happened to be preparing for a wedding that day). It was absolutely delicious, and it set the tone for the entire experience. Within minutes of meeting Denise and seeing the property, we knew this was where we wanted to celebrate our wedding.

What truly sets Cecil Creek apart, though, is not just the beautiful venue—it’s the people. For the entire two years leading up to our wedding, Denise’s communication was nothing short of outstanding. No question was too small, no request too big. She was always there to accommodate us and responded promptly every single time. Denise was hands-on, involved, and helped us coordinate every detail right down to the minute. On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything went off without a hitch and even took time to make sure we were cared for—ensuring we ate at the right time so we could enjoy mingling with our guests afterwards.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the Cecil Creek staff. Everyone mentioned how kind, pleasant, and professional they were throughout the evening. And it wasn’t just us who loved Denise—our family and even our little nieces and nephews adored her. She made the entire process, from planning to execution, completely stress-free.

We are beyond grateful to Denise and the entire Cecil Creek Farm team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of (and more). If you’re looking for a venue that combines incredible food, stunning atmosphere, and a team that truly cares about your day, look no further than...

I went for a wedding and was really taken back by how nice Cecil Creek Farms was. I’m from south jersey but this was the first time I’ve ever heard of this venue. They really shine a light on how beautiful the southern half of the state is while reminding you what makes us so great to begin with and that would be farming.

I would say they have plenty of space here but it’s definitely not the same size you would get with a bigger venue. This isn’t a bad thing as it really grasps the concept of intimacy with a gold star. There was a green house where the ceremony was held, then to a little pole barn across the way for cocktail hour and finally to the bigger building closer to the greenhouse that was the bulk of the venue.

The food here was out of this world. I’ve been to other weddings, funerals and other group events that call for a catered dinner. While I’m always appreciative of the meal I always feel when you cater a large portion of food a bit of the quality kind of falls off. This wasn’t the case for Cecil Creek Farm. I can honestly say it was the best dinner I have ever had from a catered event. Everything was delicious and felt really close to home knowing they grow a lot of their own food. It felt like I ordered a 3 course meal from a fancy restaurant.

Finally to the wonderful staff they deserve an applause. They quickly transformed what would be an unknown destination into what you would think to be your best friend’s back yard. Everyone was quick to serve, clean and be at your service in case you had any questions. They were really the cherry on top in my opinion.

If you’re thinking about hosting an event here don’t think twice and just book it. You...

PERFECT! What can I say? Absolutely exceeded our expectations, and then some! First, the staff are so amazing! Denise was our event coordinator for our September wedding, and she knocked it out of the park! Very detailed and was always on point with everything. We returned to the venue the day after our wedding to pick up decorations and such--they had two events going on, and we saw Denise literally running back and forth between them to ensure things went smoothly, and yet she still stopped to greet us and see how we were doing. And Sam came out, too, offered us drinks and help. The hospitality beats everyone else! We had our wedding ceremony in a large, wooden ring in the farm field, where our 150 guests were ferried to and from via a tractor+wagon that everyone totally loved. Then cocktail hour was held at the market, and we had live music and bomb appetizers to hold over our guests. Finally, our reception was in the barn, which was decorated so amazingly and featured plenty of dancing space. Food! It was so incredible! From the tasting to the pre-ceremony snacks, then the cocktail hour appetizers, and then the main course, everything was grand and delicious. And, of course, the s'mores station at the campfire and the gelato bar, so good! This place was just perfect for us, and, again, I can not emphasize enough how great the hospitality was. If you want a venue where the people actually care and the food, location, and service are incredible, look no further! We appreciate all they did for us, and there aren't enough words to express our gratitude for them!

We originally toured Cecil Creek Farm as a possible wedding venue back in 2019... we had seen a few prior and had a few more on our list afterwards, that is until we met Rose. After meeting her, Lou, Luna and the rest of the crew that day, we knew we wanted to spend our special day here with their help. It's hard to explain, Rose just made us feel so welcome and warm and fuzzy inside, we immediately signed. Then the pandemic came, and Rose was in touch with us through it all explaining the protocols and what to expect - we pushed our wedding back a year - and while it created some inconveniences for Rose I'm sure, she never let on to it. We just had our wedding on 11/5/2021 and it was magical, everything Rose and team did was way above and beyond our expectations. Lou escorted us around the farm on the golf cart, made sure we had snacks and drinks, and really made us feel like VIPs. I wish we could do it all over again, that's how great the experience was with Cecil Creek Farm... HIGHLY recommend. 5 stars is not enough.
