Clinton Market — Local services in East Missoula

WOW! The employees in this store have seriously gone down hill. The girl checking me out asked if I wanted my receipt I said "Yes, please." She just started checking out the people behind me. I asked for my receipt she says "I threw it away!!!?" I was standing right there I was still taking my groceries off of the counter. I didn't go anywhere!!! She didn't know how to make a copy and neither did the other employee working with her. Her comment and attitude about it only being $24 something is part of what has set me off. It doesn't matter if it's $2 or $200 if a customer wants their receipt you give it to them. It's not that Hard. I've done her job. I had a job just like hers for many years it's not that difficult....

This market is pretty clean. The staff is decently friendly. The line gets pretty long checking out but usually someone will open another register if that happens.

One time I desperately needed to use a phone to call my husband and the clerk didn't allow me to use their phone, she didn't even ask a manager if I could, I thought that was a little rude. I understand if there is a policy in place, but she actually had no idea, so she could have asked at least.

There should also be more vegan and organic options in the store! I would totally buy them out of all their vegan and organic food😆 They do have organic tampons which is a huuuge plus! And...

3/3/19- 7:15 ish pm...Girl behind the counter was rude beyond measure! Lord forbide you have a little car trouble here! A friend of ours couldn't get his car to start after running in for something. My husband and I came from Philipsburg to help him out, as we walked into the store the woman behind the counter was using profanity and griping about the car and how it wouldn't F@#*ing be there in the morning. My husband stated we were there to move it and she still proceed to be rude as I purchased my drink. In my opinion and experience in customer service this situation was handled horribly!
