Although I've loved the Bodega since it opened, yesterday's experience was quite a let down...My daughter was scheduled for the Unicorn party and I mistakenly got the start time mixed up. We were late but got in a few pics with the Unicorn out front before coming in to find a lot of the other kids finishing up! After speaking to 2 different employees we were assured there was still time to go ahead....that being said, they were rushing to clean everything up,treats were put away, and my daughter got zero help/ instruction. We felt rushed & pushed out almost to the point of rudeness.I was disappointed/ frustrated. They could've at least offered to let us join the next week instead of making our less than cheap experience a big waste of time! ( I was told next week's class is full) But I'm sure they could squeeze in one more kid& there's always a no show or 2....I realize it was my mistake & my fault we were late, but to make it a do it yourself, rushed 1 hr experience w/ no help,I'd just as soon been refunded & sent away.Definitely NOT what I paid for. As a side note,we were there painting together the week before and the employees do tend to come by cleaning up supplies more often than necessary/ comfortable.Dont enjoy...
Read moreI had an absolutely DISGUSTING experience. As soon as I walked in I was given an attitude. I was also forced to pay for extra paintings for people that didn't show and supplies we didn't use. She offered drinks multiple times and we declined. She then told us to come and get hot cocoa and many more drinks without telling us they were charging us for them. A ridiculous price of $4 FOR A BOTTLE OF WATER and $7 for hot cocoa. She kept urging us to get drinks. We thought drinks were free like most other painting places and the way she kept offering made it seem free. This is probably the worst place I have ever entered and I definitely don't recommend it. Very Expensive place for no reason, just a bunch of greedy owners.
EDIT:Trust me I wish I was trolling. I am very surprised your business is still operating with the disrespect and greedy behavior you treat your customers with.
Edit 2: Nice to see you changed your response because from what I recall you previously told me to go troll another business in the first response you wrote which appears has been deleted. Very...
Read moreThis place is BEYOND WORDS! Have been going for over a year now on random weekends or for their parties. Today took my 6 year old to paint with Anna and Elsa from Frozen and this wasn't some cheaply thrown together theme party. The Bodega hired very professional Princesses and they had story time and singing and dancing and they gave the girls a very nice (not some small chincy cheap ceramic) tree votive candle holder (in pics) to paint with snow and glitter and instructions and plenty of time to complete. They also give full creative freedom. Even though there was instructions the girls were encouraged to do what they liked and what they wanted. During the open paint which is every day you can come in to such a chill laid back environment and just let lose and be creative by your choice of medium. All while having a great staff that will assist you in everything! Ask questions about technique and brush and colors etc! Definitely recommend to everyone...
