The Giant is smaller than other Giants , but sometimes that's a good thing. Although the downside to that is less variety. But it's super convenient to have a Giant in Perkasie , so I'm more than happy with it.
The Dominoes Pizza here is usually really good....they get insanely busy and the one guy who is always there is really fast. Sometimes the food isn't cooked quite enough, most likely due to them rushing, but when it's cooked well and good , it's REALLY good.
My husband gets his hair cut at the Holiday Hair right next to the Giant, and they do a great job. I think the girl we use when available is named Brittany. We'd tried other salons prior that did such a terrible job it was infuriating, so it was so nice to finally find a place that could understand what their client wants bc they actually listened to them, AND executed it perfectly!
There is also an ok thrift store in the shopping center but only if you buy from their half-off rack that they place outside sometimes. Otherwise, their prices are a bit ridiculous- they have their items marked based on what the items once retailed for - I heard the one manager or owner complaining to a worker, "I mean, pssht, this shirt retailed for....blah blah blah"....Hello, what it once retailed for doesn't matter, you aren't factering in the fact that , uhm , on, it is USED! PRE-OWNED! NOT BRAND NEW..... RETAIL, on the other hand, = BRAND NEW, ie NOT PREVIOUSLY WORN BY SOMEONE ELSE, ie someone else's butt wasnt stuffed in these pants/someone else's pits werent stinking up these sleeves lol. The other thing not being factored in, was that the items are primarily several seasons old, meaning they most likely were eventually on sale or clearance, meaning their regular retail price is irrelevant. I have spotted several items that still had their clearance tag on them from the store, but the thrift store had them priced higher than the price on the...
Read moreThe stores located here are great. The shopping center itself is not. The grounds are poorly maintained. Sidewalks are crumbling with numerous holes and tripping hazards. The parking lot is the same way. Pot holes galore, poorly marked spaces and littered with trash. The buildings themselves are falling apart and major issues aren’t corrected until structures literally fall down. The small businesses operating here are great it’s a shame the facility...
Read moreI am giving only a three star because the prices are high in my opinion. I prefer to spend $4 or less per item, unless it is a "famous label" then up to $5 depending on the brand and quality. I would however pay more for a bridesmaids or flower girl dress because I know they...
