HONEST AND IN-DEPTH REVIEW

I would first like to point out that I am taking into consideration the issues resulting from COVID. I have read all of the most recent reviews and hopefully this will help others making the decision in attending, while also letting the owners know of the issues.

We just attended last night and we were of group of 8, with ages ranging from 8 to 66. There were two children (ages 8 and 10), four young adults (ages 23 to 36) and two seniors (ages 65 and 66). It should be noted that one of the young adults worked as a scare actor at the haunted hayride for two years a couple of years ago. Also this was not the first haunted hayride the kids have attended as they went on the H-4 hayride in East Brunswick and they got scared a lot. Also two of the young adults have been to the field of screams haunted hayride in Pennsylvania a couple of times.

We paid $22 per ticket for general admission. We only purchased one attraction (haunted hayride) because we were not sure if the kids would handle the hayride so we didn’t want to pay for other attractions that we might have not attended if the kids got scared. Our scheduled hayride was for 10pm and we got to the parking lot around 9:20. There were workers assisting with parking which was very helpful. After parking our vehicle, we walking towards the entrance. Please be aware there is no lights in the parking area which made if difficult to see where you were stepping on. The ground is extremely uneven and one of our kids fell down. I am not saying this is a cause for the low rating but this is definitely a huge exposure hazard for the owners of the farm if someone would get hurt walking in the parking lot.

We then arrived at the entrance and were greeted by a worker that that checked our temperature. Let me say that this was a joke. If you are going to have COVID precautions in place, it would be a good idea to make sure that they are done right. While checking our temperatures, most of our temperatures were around 94. If these temperatures were truly correct, we would be suffering from Hypothermia. I’m only pointing this out because it was pointless.

After the check in area, we went through the metal detectors which were a joke. Two of the members from my party were able to pass through the metal detectors with metal objects in their pockets. If they were able to get through with no issues, who else can walk through with something more dangerous such as a weapon. We then entered the attraction area and were greeted by some music being played by a DJ at the food court area.

We then looked for the haunted hayride location. There were no signs directing to the specific attractions but it was not that hard to figure out the locations. By the time we got on line for the hayride, it was about 9:35 pm. The line started right where the sign was for the haunted hayride. It took us 62 minutes to get onto the hayride. I am aware that the previous day was a rain out so there were probably more people than expected but clearly our time didn’t matter because there were people on line next to use with times of 9 and 10:45. I don’t see the point of buying a ticket with a specific time to then not mean anything when it came time to get in line. There were about 22 people on the hayride and there was a mix of ages. The two kids were excited and scared at the the same time and so were some of the adults. The hayride started (I am not going to go into detail about the hayride at a respect to the owners to not ruin any potential expectation of other thrill seekers). What I will say is it was a huge disappointment. There were not enough actors, some of the staged areas were not scary.

Personally if the owners are aware of the COVID restristions and admit they don’t have enough actors, and stating the attractions are going to be different this year, they should be charging a lot less but are not, which is causing people to become disappointed, which may make people not to come again.

BUYER BEWARE, IT IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AND WASTE OF...

If you're in search of the ultimate Halloween thrill, look no further than the Field of Terror. I recently had the spine-tingling pleasure of experiencing this haunted attraction, and I can't stop raving about how amazing and scary it was. Without a doubt, the Karnival within the Field of Terror was the absolute highlight of the night.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was charged with an eerie sense of anticipation. The Field of Terror's location, set amidst a sprawling, moonlit field, added to the overall sense of dread, making it clear that we were in for a night we wouldn't soon forget. The hauntingly themed areas, filled with fog and dimly lit paths, created the perfect environment for terror to thrive.

The attraction's scare actors were not just skilled; they were absolutely relentless in their pursuit of fear. Their dedication to their roles was evident as they lurked in the shadows, jumped out from unexpected places, and delivered spine-chilling performances that had us shrieking in terror. It's rare to find an attraction that maintains such a high level of intensity from start to finish, but the Field of Terror exceeded all expectations.

While every segment of the Field of Terror had its own unique charm and frightening surprises, the Karnival section was an absolute showstopper. It transported us into a twisted, nightmarish carnival world. The sinister clowns, demented carnival games, and macabre rides created an atmosphere of pure horror. The attention to detail in this section was outstanding, and it was clear that the creators spared no expense in ensuring a genuinely terrifying experience.

What sets the Field of Terror apart is the seamless integration of its different themed areas. You move from one nightmare to another, each as terrifying as the last, making it an unrelenting assault on your senses. The combination of suspenseful anticipation, fear, and adrenaline was unlike anything I've ever experienced in a haunted attraction.

In conclusion, the Field of Terror is a heart-pounding, immersive, and relentlessly scary experience. If you're a fan of horror and crave the ultimate Halloween thrill, it's an absolute must-visit. The Karnival within is a masterpiece of terror, providing unforgettable scares and spine-tingling moments that will stay with you long after you leave. Don't miss the chance to face your deepest fears at the Field of Terror—it's a journey into the unknown that you won't...

I had wanted to start off by saying that over the weekend, a group of friends and I took our teenage boys here. Initially, we were impressed by the many attractions, of which we paid to participate in all five. We started with the corn maze, which by itself, I felt was worth the $65 alone. Next, we waited online for the haunted hayride. While waiting on the long line, a young lady (maybe in her late teens/early 20's), collapsed in front of us. My nursing skills kicked in immediately and I began to assess the situation and called 911. Upon obtaining some medical information, the girl presented very dazed, confused & disoriented, with her pupils being very large and dilated. As a nurse of 29 years dealing with the pediatric population, I have had experience with situations similar to this. I will admit, I'm usually not that bystander to insert myself to offer my medical advice/assistance, as I'm hesitant to get involved at times due to the negative implications that it can have sometimes. With that being said, I could not not help in this scenario and so I did . When two workers approached us, then an elder man joined, who later informed us to be the owner of the establishment, I immediately tried to fill them in on the situation and offer my assistance/guidance, especially when the elder man attempted to have the girl sit up & wanted her to walk, stating that EMT will not come back to the location we were at. I was rather confused by this, because what if the situation had been worse, resulting in the girl needing CPR. Am I supposed to believe that first responders couldn't/wouldn't attempt to reach her location... that's absurd, especially because we were still in an accessible location. The owner in a very rude and dismissive manner, told me to remove myself & return to my own business. I was shocked by his response and honestly taken back by it !! I'm ok knowing that I did what I could and tried helping in a potential medical emergency. My attempt's in being a good samaritan, who also has a longstanding background in the medical field, was dismissed by the owner for whatever reason ?!! I still feel uneasy not knowing if the young girl received the medical attention needed, at the sole direction of this owner?! Because of this interaction, I will not be returning or recommending this place to...
