Has had my car for 3 weeks and nothing has been done to it….. 1-6-22 I towed my kia to Bowens Garage in Eastford CT. Upon towering my vehicle the owner (Steve) disclosed to me that some of his team was out due to Covid. I understood and had no problem with my car sitting for a week due to it being my secondary means of transportation. 1- 17-22 I called the shop to see the status of my car. The owner (Steve) informed me that he went to take a look at it this Saturday that had just passed (1-15-22) and said that he could not find the key to the vehicle any where. Then proceeded to ask me if I had a spare. I told him no. I asked him how come he never checked the car when I came in, and how come it was left unlocked with the keys in it????? He replied saying he’s never had a robbery yet and didn’t feel the need. I was extremely frustrated but just wanted my car to get fixed so I agreed to continue doing business with them. 1-26-22 I got the estimate back via email, (I was not surprised at the price) I noticed there was some old parts that I wanted back and that they be replaced in the new car parts box. (To ensure that they actually did the job,and that they put the correct part in) He emailed me a day later explaining that I could get my car parts back but I would have to pay for them back. When I refused he told me to come pick up my vehicle.

Do not come here. They are unprofessional and will waste your time. Steve does not care about his clients property. I will not be returning back to Bowens Garage in...

Steve Bowen and all who work here, are honest and trustworthy above all. They have advised me more than once about the right thing to do when a regular mechanic might try and sell a costly repair. Awesome, honest family dealership run by father and son. You just don't come across too many of these anymore. I purchased a special SVT vehicle from out of state, which can be a bit of anxious experience as I've never done it before and also didn't get to see the vehicle until days after it was shipped and entirely paid for. Jonathan kept me in the loop as much as he could, and sent me regular updates. Had a small issue after delivery and they handled that as well.
