Fudge's Auto Service Inc — Local services in Eaton

Fudge’s is the only Auto Repair business that I have ever been to that has never tried to rip me off in any way. Quite to the contrary actually, they always do great work, never do anything there not supposed to, & never try to convince you to fix things that don't actually need fixed. Here is a great example of why I will always go to fudges: I took my van in there one time because the brakes were making an awful grinding noise. They got me in immediately without an appointment and got my car up on the rack. They came out about 15 minutes later and explained to me that they took off the rear drums and discovered a bunch of loose rust in there that was causing the grinding noise. They took their air hose and blew all of the dust out put everything back together and brought my car back out to me. When I asked how much I owed them the man said "I'll tell you what, if you run down to Speedway (1.5 miles away) & get 4 medium coffees for us, will call it even". And that's just one example of the many great experiences I have had at fudges. That's why I will NEVER take my vehicle any place else. Thank you fudges for many years of great service & a well-running vehicle. UPDATE: obviously, I have continued to only take my car to Fudges in the years since I first posted my review, & my opinion of them remains exactly the same, or has maybe even improved. I am beyond grateful for this establishment. I drove from Oklahoma on my way to New Jersey when my car broke down as soon as I got to Ohio. My car started shaking at 50 MPH, had a flashing service light come on as well as the traction light. I was beyond scared given I was alone and didn’t know anyone in the area. I called 5 different places. All had told me they were booked out for weeks. These guys were busy too and they squeezed my car in. They got me up and running within the next day. Just started going here after using some W dealership in Richmond since moving here a few years ago and can't express how pleased I am with my experience so far. Hopefully the honest, cheap, quality work will continue and there will be no let downs. Honestly, if you're looking for a job on your car, they deserve a call for a quote.
