Good day my fellow truckers, today was a beautiful day at Hunter Truck Peterbilt, Eau Claire, PA. This is my first Peterbilt and my first Long Nose. I have a 2022, 389 ISX 15 that’s been cutting off, throws the truck into a derate mode, and an emergency cut-off signal, all of this while driving at 70 mph. I was in a panic, I thought my fuel was waxing, therefore, I purchase all the additives for fuel waxing and still no cure. I decided to take my truck into a Peterbilt dealership (scary) but I tufted it out and took it into the dealership this morning (January 20th, 2025), Hunter Truck Peterbilt of Eau Claire PA. This Peterbilt dealership has been the best dealership experience I’ve ever encountered. This dealership could have taken full advantage of my ignorance, thy could have charged me an arm and a leg for a repair that wasn’t necessary. I’ve had a dealership do this to me before. IF there was anything less than a one star, this engine service dept would get it!! MySon's truck towed in Mon AM. Got on it Mon PM, worked all day Tues - went up on original bill #300 and then when I went to final check out (after truck complete night before and bill was given), next AM at checkout, tried to go up again. Refused to pay. $7500+. 2 miles down the road, same thing. He spent 4 hrs under the truck and still have to take it back in. Hunter.Truck sales are the most unreliable people to Deal with,I ordered parts from them paid Cash, Parts were all wrong took them back got the right parts ,and they were $150.00 cheaper, said they couldn't reimburse me the $150.00 must go through Corporate office .it is going on 2 weeks since they said they sent me my refund, still have not received it.
