Had a blast with my husband. ‼️AFTER the ✨AWFUL EXPERIENCE✨ with a woman at the inside ticket counter. I've NEVER had such a horribly rude experience. Seriously hope someone has a talk with them about TAKING NO FOR AN ANSWER. Sorry for the novel in advance
I was simply trying to buy wristbands.. (I KNEW it was dollar day as well. I looked at the website hours before we got there.) ALL THE SAME, to put it bluntly..we didn't care about the deal because we didn't NEED IT. We WANTED wristbands, that way we're not running back and forth to the ticket counter all night.. Simple right??
NO! She cuts me off the ENTIRE time to tell me I'm 'not Listening TO HER' ...'I'm Interrupting HER'...'no, you're not listening'....'That's DUMB'...'It's Dollar Day'...she went on and on, etc...just to list a few things she OVERTALKED/insulted us over... ...Instead of hearing our good reasoning (not that I should have had to explain myself) and JUST SELL ME 2 DANG WRISTBANDS! INSTEAD it got SO unreasonably heated that I had no choice but to asked her, do I need to take my money to another counter? To which I got rudely brushed away without another word, suddenly she had nothing more to say. Frankly I wanted nothing to do with her either at that point.I wasn't even being hateful when I said it..I was simply tired of being insulted and talked over.
✨How hard is it...to take someone's money, and give them what they asked for..??✨ The next ticket booth literally steps over didn't try to FORCE tickets onto me? While calling us dumb? (I get that she THINKS she was tryna save me money, but I didn't need/want/ask for that help. I certainly didn't want it aggressively forced onto me, after I already said NO.) All in all, It was just a highly unpleasant experience. I hope no one else gets treated that way.
Everyone else though, was absolutely AMAZING nothing but smile laughs and fun stories amongst the rest of the staff, rides and vendors. I wish I could give them 5 stars, but that whole ticket interaction nearly ruined the whole night for us. It was all I could think about on the way home. Which was sad, considering we...
Read moreI had such a great time at the fair! The rides were a lot of fun, the wait times were minimal, and the food was excellent. The games and face painting added to the experience, and I really appreciated how organized the parking was. They even provide a tractor ride to take you from the parking area to the fairgrounds, which makes everything so convenient.
I drove in from about an hour and 20 minutes away, and it was absolutely worth the trip. One of the highlights was the tiger show—where, for just $5, you can even feed them! The whole event was well put together, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun outing.
If you want to support the local Edenton Steamers, definitely try the concession stand. Their pork barbecue is delicious and a must-try. Overall, this fair is a wonderful mix of fun, food, and entertainment. I would 100%...
Read moreOn Wednesday, they opened the county fair for schools in the area from 10am to 12pm. Most of the rides were free of charge, no tickets required. My daughter and I enjoyed it. I saw many other children and parents enjoy it too. It was considered a field trip for the children. Line of cars were long getting into the county fair and leaving the...
