This place is Amazing their app is great and there people are so knowledgeable love the unique plants I have never seen plants like what they have any where else . They have there own bee hives and we get out local honey from them that is amazing ! There produce is another amazing feature that they work extremely hard on! The corn is to die for! Strawberries and fruit are out of this world. If you haven't tried them put them on your bucket list you will not regret it omg! In the review about not open at 6:00am if you would do your home work you would see that they open up at 7:00 am everyday of the week except for Sunday's they open up at 9:00am They have a great website and an amazing Facebook page !! I hate when people give reviews and they don't know what they are talking about ! As for being better then Homestead gardens I think that both place have amazing plants and do well in that category! So it is hard to compare these two in any way Riva gardens has the best produce I have ever had and I have live here for over 30 years and no one comes close. They do a very professional job at everything they do . We know the owners and we can't say enough about them ! They work 24 7 everyday and still has time to help you in every way! They are amazing people and workers! So if you haven't been there give them a try you will not regret it ! Ps they also have an amazing refill and save on their olive oils and balsamic vinegars omg !! And at Christmas time they sell the most amazing snow tip Christmas trees and if you haven't tried their homemade cookies and hot apple cider then you haven't lived yet!! Sorry I could go on and on about this place . This places Rocks I would have given them 10 stars if I could have !
carry any where else they put all the other garden...
Read moreA group of people had parked in the driveway for less than two minutes when the owner pulled up and demanded we leave. We immediately did so, but as we were pulling out, he began smacking the cars with his hand and yelling at us to "go, go" despite the fact that there was oncoming traffic making it unsafe. One of the cars pulled off to the side of the road, near the Riva Gardens, but not on their property. The owner proceeded to THROW A BRICK and HIT THE CAR. I wish I were kidding. My kids were in the car with me and my 3 year old kept asking why that man was so mad and why he was hitting cars. "We don't hit things, Mommy!" Yeah, needless to say, I'm upset. Multiple people who were present are in the process of filing a police report. I will never, for any reason, go anywhere near Riva Gardens ever again. It's one thing to ask those you don't want to park at your place of business to leave, it's another to physically assault them when they are already complying and entirely peaceful (not a single person even got out of their car). Unbelievable and...
Read moreThis is a very friendly, local, woman-owned small business that I especially love to visit throughout the summer and fall for its offerings of fresh, local produce and out-of-this-world baked goods (the pumpkin donuts and butter rum muffins are seriously to die for). Unique gifts and decorations are available in the gift shop. Everything for sale there--including plants, foods, gifts--has been hand picked by the owner and her husband. Christmas trees for sale after Thanksgiving, and you'll be given free, homemade Christmas cookies and hot cider to make your visit that much more enjoyable. If you visit the place just a few times, the owner and her husband will know...
