I recently was at this minigolf location, and here are a few of my takeaways.
It's a small nine hole "course" - but you play the nine holes twice, so you end up playing 18 holes. There's alot of tree/bush debris on the carpeting of the holes - which can add either way to making it more difficult in your putting, or perhaps assisting you in such. Since everyone faces these small obstacles equally, I personally didn't mind the added "nature" impediments that could add a stroke or perhaps delete a stroke, here or there.
After playing the 18 rounds, they have a small custard icecream store attached to the small facility, where you can get a variety of different icecream desserts (cones/sundaes/floats/cups) plus sodas and other dessert type items. Not a bad way to finish off the minigolf loss that you've just incurred.
Also, oddly enough, there's a small stand-alone barber-shop at this minigolf location. I believe that the hair cutting is done by the owner of the facility, but of the 3 times that I've been at the Edinburg Minigolf, I have yet to see this barber-shop opened for business.
Overall, the prices were reasonable, and the icecream was a nice additive, to treat one's self to. If you sink your ball with a hole-in-one in the "19th" hole - you'll get $3 off towards an icecream item.
Overall, its a fun way to spend an hour or more with a fun activity, especially for small children, or for those "children at heart" adults...

Only issue I had personally was a lack of shade, and it was pretty hot today. But the tables out front for ice cream have umbrellas, and their options for ice cream were quite varied and...
