I went in to repair a broken front tooth which had resin composite. When the dentist (he) was supposedly done he asked for me take a look. It was horribly repaired. I told him no that it was not smooth and it didn’t look aligned correctly, it looked like my front tooth was wider at bottom and growing into the other tooth. He argued with me that he couldn’t do what I was asking because my teeth were not straight. I told him I know that but I was not going to walk around with a deformed tooth! He had to work longer on my tooth and I think that was the problem. While having him work on my tooth the assistant sprayed water all over my face which I was like ok that’s normal but then it sprayed into my nose and had to stop them, did they even bother to apologize, no, just went on to finish. Was I happy with my tooth, no. Does it look horrible like at first no because I had to speak up. It’s almost like he didn’t care if his work look professional. My only regret is not taking a picture of what he expected me to walk out with. I am currently looking for another dentist to redo my teeth because I do not like how it turned out. I went in the get my teeth cleaned. My insurance covers a standard teeth cleaning at 100% which means no out of pocket for me. After x-rays and an initial inspection, I was told I needed a deep clean which would be about $200 out of pocket for me. I was told I had a choice between getting the deep clean or the standard cleaning. When I chose the regular standard teeth cleaning, I was then told I “had” to choose the deep clean. I just wanted my teeth cleaned and they refused unless I paid the extra $200 out of pocket for the deep clean. Why even give me the choice if you’re going to remove one of the choices anyways? Overall, the people were nice and courteous but, I can’t believe they wouldn’t clean my teeth. A regular cleaning is still better than NO cleaning. Was informed they took 2 insurances. They Waited until after they did the dental work to say they only file secondary as a "courtesy" if they want. And even then it's after the get the payment from the 1st insurance. Why lie and way until after the work is done?? Not right for someone coming from out of town expecting to use both insurances. And the lady up front is EXTREMELY RUDE!! Probably should have took my red flag the last time we went to get the expenses for upcoming visit and a guy was flipping out. And she was rude then.
