Blueberry Hill Farms, Inc. — Local services in Edom

One of our favorite family annual traditions and one that we've never missed in 31 years and at least 2 owners. We make a 2 hour drive for 45 minutes of blueberry picking. We cook blueberry recipes for a few weeks and freeze the rest. Love all the changes the current owners have made with the shop, blueberry pies, ice cream and other treats. Used to be we left with just blueberries but now we leave with just as much of their fresh goods with everything from blueberry syrup, muffin mix to blueberry coffee. You can eat as much as you like while you're picking, and I highly recommend sampling as you go so that to get the best bushes. This place is awesome! Great family outing with just enough to entertain the kids but it doesn't feel overwhelming like many family activities...great spots to sit afterwards and enjoy the peacefulness yet fun to have music playing while picking the berries. Kids loved the sandbox and the store is awesome, too. We picked up some cherry bbq sauce (after we sampled) and the blueberry ice cream is the best I've had in my life...seriously might drive here on a Sunday with the kids just for the ice cream. Prices are very fair and for less than $100 we got a great family adventure day. And do not forget the blueberry donuts---best in the Tyler area by far! Thank you Blueberry Hill! I was sad to see the place is for sale so I hope the new owners keep everything the same! Love this...

We drove out from Dallas. Sadly we could not pick any blackberries- it looked like the bushes had all been harvested and we couldn't find any that were ripe. Thankfully the blueberries were plentiful! Went with three kids under 5 and all of then were able to find and pick blueberries.

They had a great picnic area with a sandbox and plenty of shade! The store was really cute and filled with yummy preserves and other farm products like honey. The fresh pastries available were delicious. We purchased blackberries and peaches from the store, in addition to the berries we had picked and a few pastries.

It was so Hot, but they had water coolers and cups available by the store and in the field.
