Dollar General — Local services in Edwards

They were out of the product I needed!! This happens a lot in my hometown. It is the only store in my small rural town and I know they get a lot of business for the reason stated, but they never seem to keep an ample supply of products. It may take a week or more before the product is restocked, even if it is a product of demand. When management is questioned, we are told that the supplies are restocked according to what shows up on the computer or whatever the management system is. But yet we can travel to nearby stores and find their shelves running over with the same product. I am grateful that the store is in our town, as it provide goods we would have to travel 25-35 miles to get, but the availability of, an ample supply of, and the restocking of the goods regularly would make my shopping experience much more satisfying...

It's a hit or miss if this store is ever open. If you are lucky enough to catch them open than be prepared to wait at the register for someone to ring you up. I will say there is one gentleman there, that I am thankful if I go when he is working. He is very pleasant dont have to wait for someone to ring me up either. Not sure what the reason is for them always being closed. If I would have to guess it would be they need more employees. Great location just not consistent...

Great experience. I got there right after they received a truck of fresh produce that they had time to get it all displayed. I stopped to get burger buns, but was able to get all the fresh fixins for the burgers. The tomatoes came in a 4 pack, from a greenhouse.
