Gaither Markets — Local services in Eldersburg

When I was a FedEx delivery driver years ago in the Sykesville area, many times I stopped in this little store for a breakfast sandwich and a milk or soda. The sandwiches were ALWAYS hot and delicious!! They're made to order. Well, I was in the other day and I can honestly say not one thing has changed!!! I got an egg and cheese and scrapple sandwich with butter and mayo on toast and it was wonderful. Hot and delicious. Don't be in a big hurry because your food is gonna be made to order. But let me tell you, it's worth the wait. And it's not just breakfast. There are other sandwiches and subs as well. If you're in the area they're easy to find and worth the time!!! I highly recommend you give them a try. You'll be glad you did!!! Little country stores like Gaither Market are getting harder and harder to find, but I sure hope this one is around for many...

Great convenience store for cigarettes, subs, some groceries, lunch meat, and produce. The staff are friendly and work together. A great little convenience store once you can get through the fog of cigarettes at the door. Employees and others smoke right at the door because there is an ashtray on each side of the door. Although I think there is a sign that says no soliciting, it often just looks like a hangout. There is a guy always begging for cigarettes and/or coffee. This is a great little market convenient store, especially for those who live right there in Gaither Manor Apartments. The deli has delicious hot and cold food. I absolutely Love this little store iv been coming here atleast 3 times a week for the past 16 years for my diet cokes and the deli food and to bother Miss Janice the store manager she is just so awesome and down to earth such a fun person to talk to,and shannon who has been there along time as well she’s very friendly and such a sweetheart and a kickass cook and well all the ladies are but i choose shannon or janice to make my food,yes they have a deli and i must say there sandwiches and food is all kickass!
