Had an interesting exchange with the owner and I have to say I should have believed the people who told me he wasn't friendly to customers. I won't be going again and I will be telling my other service member family to shop elsewhere.
(Edit) What the owner fails to mention is that the entry way to the parking lot had no signs or blocks to say it wasn't to be used. I also happened to be stuck in front of a car who also didn't notice the RV blocking the entryway further up during a high traffic time with people going home after completing their shifts at work. So after being stuck for a while I noticed I could go around the RV unlike the sedan behind me, so I decided to do so because it would make an easier situation for me and the other vehicle. since I would know not to take that entry to the parking lot anymore with the RV in the way. Working towards the safest path forward for the vehicles on the road. Once I arrived at the drive thru window I was asked how I made it around I said what I did and was instantly denied service without being able to explain why I took the course of action I did. So after the drive through window was closed in my face I sat for a minute hoping I could explain why I did what I did and apologize. However I quickly realized that it didn't matter. I can understand being upset but in the disrespectful fashion that everything transpired it just left a bad taste in my mouth. Everyone is human and its not hard to have empathy and hear someone out. Understanding is such a simple thing to have but after the long day today I wanted to mourn one of my lost comrades with one his favorite drinks. His funeral is in two days. I was met with no empathy or understanding on how things were handled let alone allowed to express why I felt that was the best option.
