I dropped my deer off on 12/20. I was told to come back in 2 days for the head and to expect my deer in 2 weeks. I texted once and called twice 3 days later to check on the head and no one answered. When I stopped by after work, the head was not ready but they cut it right then for me. While I was waiting, the self-proclaimed owner told me that my deer would be very good meat after hanging and I was lucky I came when I did as mine would not need to be frozen and just dry age for 2-3 weeks.

After this, I called 2 weeks later on 1/6. There was no answer, but she called right back. Like other reviews have said, she says they dry age it so it hangs for a week or two before cutting, and they were the only place taking deer so I'll have to be patient. At that point, I decided to leave it up to fate. She wasn't very friendly and me calling angrily wouldn't have helped anything.

I sent a text on 2/11 as dry aging at this point would have been a very long time, and I was concerned about the meat spoiling as I read in other reviews. There was no response.

On 2/21, I sent another text and received a response the next day stating my deer was ready.

When I picked it up on 2/22, I was pretty disappointed. All of the grounds are dated 12/26 and everything else is dated 2/22. It's all frozen and looks ok, but I pulled out some steaks and grounds to try. The steaks were good so we were excited. We thought, "hey maybe we worried for nothin". Then we made some grounds and one of my bites had a small hard piece, which appeared to be a piece of a band saw.

Overall, this was a terrible experience. The meat is super gamey, and I'm not convinced this is my deer, let alone a whole deer. Personally, I think they bit off more than they could...

Terrible communication , the first time I ordered a side of beef the meat sat in a warehouse over the weekend and it took about a week to receive it . But the meat was pretty good as was the price . The 2nd time I ordered meat they delivered it after it had been sitting in a car for 9 hrs , they brought them in cardboard boxes from the post office 2 boxes of the meat had been thawed completely , additionally they leave so much silver skin on the cuts I’ve received that the first couple steaks I had made for my family were awful and just leathery . When I contacted them about these issues, they had responded with this

“We're sorry to hear you aren't satisfied with the final product. We put a lot into it so it's disappointing to hear you don't not get what we were aiming for. We will definitely make note of your complaints to try to better the product”

so far the steaks and beef I’ve had have almost had a sour taste to them and I will never purchase from this farm ever again you get what you pay for .

Edit: We’re on our 25th lb of ground beef and I keep finding bone chunks , tooth cracking chunks. Additionally all of the meat is gamey ....

This place should be shutdown!! My boyfriend brought his deer here November 17th and never got it back. We both made numerous calls to no answers. We'd drive by during the week and there'd be no one there so we started going on the weekends. He'd talk to someone and they assured him they were working on the deer but just running behind. The first time they said they were just getting up to the 17th and he should be getting a call that his deer was ready. That was 3 weeks after it being dropped off. Never got a call so we went back again 2 weeks later. At that point we had concerns about the meat going bad and they assured him it was fine and that the way they process the meat it would not be bad. It's now December 28th and still haven't heard anything and I don't think we will. This is wrong!! I'm now considering reporting them to TN Wildlife Resource Agency and I would encourage anyone else who's dealt with them and had the same experience to do so. They should not be allowed to just steal people's deer/food!! Zero stars here!! And we'll never use them again. Very crappy way to do business with the...
