When we arrived at the distillery Keith and the staff greeted us like old friends and made sure we got situated since we were in a large RV. The paved lot is open and level with plenty of room to accommodate most rigs. After we got settled, the Staff provided us a rundown on the distillery operations and we had the opportunity to do a tasting of the various spirits available for purchase. We picked our favorites, bought a few bottles and knew what we wanted to try as cocktails in the great outdoor bar and patio area that offers the atmosphere of hanging out with friends in your own backyard. The property is beautiful so be sure to walk around and visit the onsite Ivory Buck Boutique or the pair of peacocks nestled among the tall pine trees. The onsite food is wonderful during the afternoon while enjoying a drink on the welcoming patio area with both covered and open seating. There was a local food truck and live music the night that we were there. After a meal and some drinks, make a point to hang out around one of the multiple firepits or play a round of cornhole with other distillery visitors. The atmosphere at Tall Pines is great thanks to Keith and his family distillery staff. We can't wait to return and make this a regular stop in...

We stopped here on a Saturday late afternoon in January for a spirit tasting as part of a whiskey trail pass we purchased. This was one of the locations on the trail pass and our first stop. We had a tasting flight and samples some of the whiskey, moonshine, bourbon and rum. This is a family operation and everyone we interacted with was friendly and pleasant. There weren’t many others here when we stopped but it was a rainy/snowy day. The atmosphere was laid-back and casual. We did see that they have some outdoor space and I am sure that is really nice when the weather is good. They have a small food menu - we weren’t hungry so didn’t order anything but the popcorn machine smelled like maybe we should have gotten some of that:) Overall...

I went here for a rehearsal dinner and the spirits are incredible. They have a 140 proof whiskey Forest Fire that has flavor and packs a punch, but tastes amazing. Their bourbons and whiskeys are exceptional. What makes these spirits such a hit is that the base of it all, their moonshine, is clean and smooth. The owner cares and you can tell. He is knowledgeable and really great to talk to about his product.

If this were on a main drag, it would be getting national attention, but because it is tucked in the bottom of Pennsylvania, it is one of the best kept secrets in local distilling you’ll find. Highly recommend making the stop, because this is a high quality operation...

We stopped here on our road trip and are so glad we did. The first taste of moonshine is free. We selected the Banana Foster Another 5 are $5. We tried the strawberry rhubarb, redemption whiskey, Amaretto and the cafe mocha and our final pick was one of their rums. Lots of other choices, and each would make a fabulous boozy snowball or snow cone. Couldn't leave without purchasing our favorite! If you find yourself traveling along Maryland 68, head north to PA to Tall Pines Distillery.

Great atmosphere and staff. The owner and his family run the place. They are really friendly, especially their dog Copper. They have a bar on site that uses their product to make a variety of mixed drinks and shots. The owner toured us through the distilling facility. The moonshine is not just distilled and then flavor added, the flavors are made during the process. For instance, the peach moonshine is made with real peaches. The tasting room had everything available for sampling.
