The Snowy Range is within the Medicine-Bow Routt National Forest. This area is incredibly scenic. I loved hiking around the lake marie area. The views from the peak and up close to the lake were beautiful. This area is dog friendly. This is an amazing place to take pictures. There are paid and primitive camping...

We had so much fun. There were a bunch of easy trails for beginners. As someone who hadn’t skied in 12 years, this was an ideal place just to learn! There were also a few more intense trails. There were lots of friendly staff and well-manicured trails. I can’t wait to come back...
