We came here for a beautiful day out on Columbus Day. We did the hayride and pumpkin picking, which came with their delicious apple cider and apple cider donuts. We also did the corn maze, which was surprisingly difficult to get out of! Everything was fabulous, with two notable exceptions.
Most importantly, the maze exits near a busy roadway, so please consider moving the exit further to the left (into the fields/towards the building). There was a faux exit in a similar place which could easily be swapped out for safety. The kids were excited, and running out, thank God we were there to make sure they didn't run into traffic, but IF kids get lost from and/or ahead of their parents, this could be a tragedy waiting to happen! Please, please reconsider the exit!!!
Secondly, port a potties don't need to be a nightmare these days, and these ones were. It was a busy day, but it was really, really bad. It made us want out before any of the kids needed a bathroom break again, and really took away from the experience.
Otherwise, this would and should be a five star review. Thank you for a beautiful autumn day out. We made great...
Read moreI love this place!!! Their apple cider is pressed right on the premises. The apple cider donuts are the best. They have plenty of seasonal, mostly locally grown produce in the market. They also offer pick- your- own fruit as it comes in season. For pick your own, they have sweet cherries, pie cherries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, black berries, plums, grapes, pears, apples, pumpkins. On the second Saturday in July they hold a Blueberry festival. This includes live bands, blue berry sundaes, blueberry donuts, blueberry shakes and a blue berry dessert contest. In September they also do hayrides to the apple orchards. And the second Saturday in September is their Apple festival. In October they have hayrides to the pumpkin patch and a corn maze. Hayrides are on Saturdays and Wednesday afternoons. They have activities every Saturday in October. They are closed on Sundays. They open June 1st and close the day before...
Read moreFavorite cider in the area, and really good donuts. Went to the hayride for the first time this year, it was cute. Well priced, it included a small pumpkin, cider, and a donut. Cons were there was no direction, people just standing around all over waiting to get on the hayride, no signs anywhere, no person helping direct people. Also, the woman selling tickets was pretty rude. We stood in her line and tried asking a question about buying donuts and she just said, "go inside". Meanwhile the people making the donuts were right behind her and the sign said they sold donuts from there and we literally saw people ahead of us buying donuts. We were not going to go back inside, to a longer line, just to buy donuts, so we left. Her incapability to answer a question and her attitude, made a sour ending to...
