Clayton County Fairgrounds — Local services in Elkader

The 2nd Annual Swap Meet was a 1st for me to be a vendor at something like this. I'm only accustomed to doing Farmer's Market. I have to say, in my opinion, it was organized very well with directing vendors to where they wanted us. Everyone from other vendors, customers & the fairground employees were so nice & helpful! The grounds were kept up very nice & clean. Location is great with highway traffic. Only suggestion I have is they need to advertise well in advance through several sources of media & maybe until word gets out more to not charge admission fees to those who just want to look around? Otherwise, overall, I'm happy with my 1st experience with this...
