Rest Rooms are kept clean the people there are working hard to keep Aeras clean if people would just be kind enough to flush toilet and not throw paper on floor the Next Guest experience could also be more satisfying, people are quick to blame the STAFF but the staff is not the one trashing the place it's the Guest that visit that have no Respect and Considerations for the next person who comes behind them to leav it the way they found it that's also why its hard to find people who are will to work cleaning Bathrooms behind People , if people would just consider Not Making it so difficult for the staff to keep these Rest Aeras clean there would not be so many unnecessary complaints because it the people who visited that trashes and some poor hard working individuals job site and worker's always get Blamed for the mess and it's the people who are Trashing the place and making next Guest have a bad experience and cause Complaints about Aeras not being clean worker's are Not on site 24/7 they too have to return home to...

Finally reopened after 9 months of renovation. I've used this and many other rest areas frequently over the years and unfortunately one thing did not get fixed while it was closed.

There are two sets of restrooms. The custodians (now from Rick's Cleaning Service) will keep one set of restrooms, though clean, locked with a "closed for cleaning" sign. This is so they only have to clean one set per shift. And it does not matter how dirty the other set gets or how many people are waiting to use them, half the restrooms will be closed all day every day.

As a Georgia citizen and taxpayer, I find this to be a horrible waste of our money. There's a full time cleaning staff at each rest area. I'm okay with that if they are actually CLEANING full time. With the way they do it now, one rest area's staff could move between four rest areas per shift and clean each one once and save 75% of...

This place was disgusting. Bathrooms were trashed and looked as if they had not been cleaned in days, there was trash quite literally everywhere from the bathrooms, to walkways, to the parking lots. Even the dumpster area was trashed like people had been dumpster diving. The entire place stinks. The bathrooms smelled horrid, turned my stomach when I opened the door. Overflowing trash cans, nasty toilets, dirty floors and sinks. The only thing that makes up for how awful this place was is the amount of space outside for activities. I would say only come here to have a picnic and let your dogs run around, aside from that this place is a terrible stop. Go to the Love's or Pilot...

Lots of room to walk around and stretch your legs. The bathroom was a bit nasty, but I've used worse.

Georgia does well with highway rest areas and this one is no exception. Located on I-75 between Macon and Valdosta, it has a tremendous amount of room for trucks. The entrance has one of the features I particularly appreciate when it's designed into highway rest stops - a sweeping curve and a 90 degree corner. This definitely helps to force drivers to slow down before they come into the parking area at highway speeds. Restrooms were clean. Vending machines were stocked. A more than decent stop.
