Quite an experience. While waiting for a senior representative to take her calls I noticed 3 military Mk-13 survival smoke/flares open display. This senior person showing irreverence to my military service while in discussion with her colleague insists that display of military pyrotechnics was perfectly legal. After leaving a PD officer indicated that a disturbance was caused by my expressing a safety concern and misrepresenting my actions. Subsequently I am now banned for life. So much for being cautious. My experience means absolutely nothing! Not a "Thank you for your service!" So now begins the smear! Defamation is still an offense. I have no wrap sheet! I am a decorated Desert Storm veteran. These devices are strictly regulated. The shame is yours. This just displays your ethic. Just saying! Lies are just that! I've earned my status. Be very careful! We are a nation of laws. I've SERVED, you apparently haven't. This exchange has lost my respect for the service you provide to MY community. I've been honorably discharged four times, withe a Service connection. Let the public decide. I still have my constitutional right to my free speech. Most importantly, I simply informed your establishment of a safety and fire hazard to you establishment. What happens because your supposed self appointed knowledge, is on you. So much for being concerned for safety. I did my servants duty....
Read moreI really enjoy browsing the online auctions and bidding on items. I don't purchase real frequently and not large dollar amounts but I consider myself a customer. Unfortunately, on pickup days, I can't make it to the building by closing time b/c I work until the same time and have a 15-minute drive there. When I call to make arrangements for pickup, the people are never very friendly. Many times they're very short and even verging on rude. The latest incident is that I requested for my items to be set outside the door for pickup at 5:15pm. I arrived at that time and the items had been stolen. My invoice was under a rock on the bench next to the front door. I was told that there is no way to know who took the items and since I had them set outside at my own risk, there was absolutely nothing that could be done. Mind you, it wasn't a large dollar amount BUT it's the way it was handled. Too bad, too sad is the impression I got. That's no way to do business, in my opinion. I'm not a high dollar customer so they won't miss my business but I won't be bidding again...
Read moreDrove up there with a trailer full of exactly what they are advertising they want. (See photo) The owner came to me in front of a bunch of people in the building and yelled at me saying I didnât have anything worth him selling. But stood and told my husband he could sell several things he could see when he opened the door. This is upsetting to be treated with disrespect in front of other customers. The poor people in there were probably embarrassed for me. We purchased a three acre property and other items over the years from Hines in the past. They charge 35% to seller and 10% to buyer. Thatâs almost 50%! The owner could probably afford a book on better people skills. They have false advertising on website! (See photo) They may want to change the wording to say âWe only want what makes us the most money, the rest of your stuff is garbage.â Warning to all the other nice people willing to bring stuff there and only get half of the profit. Sometimes itâs not worth giving to the...
