We had a perfect visit, and were so thankful to have run into the owners, Christina and Russ, at their business site. As a soap aficionado, who travels all over the world to coastal areas to find the best soaps, it was a dream come true meeting Christina and Russ. They explained all of the soaps, were very generous with the time they spent with my family, and even gave us a tour and explained the soap-making operations in their stunning workshop. These soaps are amazing! On a recent trip to Maine we stopped by their shop in Ellsworth. The owners were very friendly and hospitable and take great pride in the quality of soaps they produce. They even gave us a tour of their shop and explained their process for making and distributing. The soaps are very mild, made with natural ingredients, lather well, and smell amazing! We bought several different scents as well as their laundry soap. The laundry soap doesn't suds up like a regular detergent, but it get our clothes clean, leaves a very light scent, and the best part is how very little I have to use for a whole load. 1-1.5 tablespoons gets a large /extra large load clean! I first visited this soap company when my wife and I were visiting family in Maine and took a vacation to Bar Harbor in 2020. The family who runs this company are fantastic people and even gave me a couple of bars for free when they saw I was a veteran, which was incredibly generous. All of their soaps are fantastic, but I especially love the Clam Flats Clay bar and the occasional shampoo bars they do as soap of the month.
