I placed two orders early this year. One in February as well as another several months later. I communicated via phone call with the business owner May 16th (even talked about adding additional plants to my orders).
I was told on the 16th that shipping had only started the beginning of May, they were swamped with orders, and that they were shipping orders as fast as they could.
I waited until May 30th still no plants so I sent my first email. After I received no response I decided to try calling again. I called twice in June and received no reply.
I started questioning whether or not I was the only person having a problem?
So I made a post in a facebook group. The business owner who I previously talked to almost immediately responded. The same owner who had been too busy to respond to three previous private inquiries.
In the meantime several other people commented on the status reporting the same types of issues. Previously placed orders some very large which resulted in no shipping of plants.
The owner got defensive on the status and ended up cancelling my order. They initiated the cancellation not myself. The status was removed promptly from the Facebook group and that was that.
The company doesn’t accept paypal so it is a little more complicated and difficult to get a refund vs with Paypal Buyer protection. I wasn’t going to wait to see if they would refund my money. They hadn’t when I checked several days following so initiated the refund on my end through my Credit Union. Having never gone through the process before I have learned my lesson and will stick to my policy of only ordering online from vendors who accept payments through Paypal. It could have saved a lot of grief.
My personal assessment is that this is a con game not a business. When someone accepts payment without providing a good or service in return it is fraud.
Am more than ready to put this all behind me however felt an obligation to warn some others potentially ensnares in this trap!
