The funny thing happened yesterday when I left this place after being ignored there by a employee who has played a significant role in team building using her position driven by her feelings towards over the information given to the police pertaining to the JD8 murders which a family member was a suspect already I just supplied evidence which then wanted to kill me and got killed by the police. Has the best pepper jack boudin balls around hands down! You definitely get your monies worth and they are hot and fresh. Called ahead for a large order for my class reunion and they were perfect (everyone raved about them). Burgers are made with real ground meat and are good size. Cracklings are fried to perfection. Fried chicken doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. The meat market is stock stocked daily with delicious fresh cuts of meat. I honestly am impressed that they can compete with the big stores for it being in a such a small town but the prices are pretty comparable. I don't have to drive all the way into town for everything. If you are traveling down 190 don't hesitate to stop in and grab a burger and fries or a plate lunch. Boudin balls or fried shrimp. Trust me everything is good and you won't leave...

Nice surprise traveling across Louisiana not on I-10. We asked a couple of guys in the parking lot (didn't get their names, sadly) what they would recommend inside. One recommendation stood out - "They serve one of the best hamburgers around here!" So we ordered hamburgers. They did not disappoint!

It's not a "fast food" place but the time spent waiting was reasonable especially considering the quality and accuracy of our 'complicated order.' The service was polite and pleasant.

The restaurant is connected to a store which includes a great meat department with a good selection of in-store made sausages.
