Needler's Fresh Market — Local services in Elwood

Every time I go to the store shop for a half an hour to an hour get to the register prices are wrong 9 out of 10 times Andy will not honor them there will be some lame excuse for why a tag from a month ago wasn't taken I am so nervous when I go in the store I try to read the dates and everything to make sure the price is right and not something that was left over from another time but instead I get a harsh know I'm not doing it. When I looked at the tag it said it did not expire until March the 13th he takes me back there and shows me the little fine print in the white which nobody ever looks for and it says the start date is tomorrow. I asked him to honor the price he refused as he has done several times before is this the best needler's has to offer. When a customer comes in and are spending $100 and you have a sale for $3 off whether the tag right or wrong I should not be treated like I'm trying to steal $3 when I'm spending a hundred this is not customer service sick...

Most of the staff are friendly. Store is clean and organized the most part. The guy that cleans the floors in the evening will run you over so watch out for that😳... Also I would almost give them a 4-star Maybe(probably not) but everything is so stinking expensive at this location. I'm not sure if that's just a typical thing at all locations or not. They do have a decent variety of ice cream and I typically go there to get some although as I've said before they are expensive. For example the Eddie's ice cream they sell for over $6 with a big sale sign on it (like its sum great deal lol) when it is a regularly $4 at the Dollar General or often less when it's on sale there. So it's just a typical example of the price differences. As it may give you the most variety in town for groceries it will most certainly cost yeah quite a bit extra for the convenience. That's my experience at least....

The staff is always friendly. If the manager happens to be walking by he will ask every time I'm in there if I have found everything okay or if I need any help finding anything particular. The meat and veggies are always fresh. When they hold deals (discounts), they are great, and make it more affordable for a family of 7 (during the week, and 10 during the weekends), other with more than 4 or 5 in a family understand completely. The deli is always pretty well stocked, same with the rest of the store. If they have a sale going on and they do not have any more product, they will offer a raincheck.
