Getting there isn't easy. Google "Parking for Black River Falls." If it takes you to a person's driveway that says Private Property keep going! The next road is your turn. It has a Scenic Road sign. You will know you have arrived, when you see a very rusty Black River Falls sign and an area of large stones in a curve. Park there, take the trail on the right. You can hear the falls quickly. The trail can be a little steep in spots, but it is probably only about 1000 feet of walking. One of the locals keeps replacing the waterfall sign that she told us keeps going missing (as we got a little lost). As you go down the main trail, you run into a spot where a bridge once was.
