The charge port on my 6 yr old Dell laptop (which is otherwise in great condition, fast, and works perfectly) became deformed and stopped charging. I called multiple computer repair places, a couple of them told me they didn't do this kind of repair and a couple others recommended I buy a new laptop because it would be cheaper to replace it than to pay for the parts/labor to replace the charge port. I was very disheartened to hear this because there is otherwise nothing wrong with my computer! Another place quoted me 2 hours of labor at $85/hour plus parts which could range from $25-60 and it would take 1-2 weeks to fix. Then I called Empirical Computers and I am very glad I did. He gave me the cheapest quote, it was very reasonable, and told me that this frequently happens with Dell chargers and he likely had the part in stock. Dropped off my computer that afternoon and he had it fixed the next day! Laptop was 100% charged when I picked it up. Couldn't recommend Empirical Computers more and will go back if I have any issues in the future. Saved me $1000+ that I would have spent on a new laptop. Thank you Empirical...
Read moreI had hackers get in my desktop and put Trojans, and whatever else in it. I called Empirical Computers, and Derek said to Bring it in, and he would take a look at it. He had it for two days. He called and said he would need to install new security and a few other things cleaned it all out. Picked up the next day, I was very impressed with what he had charged. I would highly recommend Empirical Computers for your Computer work I'll...
Read moreMy laptop had a corrupted operating system and kept going into a startup repair process loop. I dropped the laptop off at 1 P.M. and picked it up at 4 P.M. I mentioned that the touch screen hadn't worked in years, and that was fixed as well. Granted, it turned out not to be a serious problem, but that's very fast turnaround time. It was a reasonable price to repair and I live less than a five minute drive away. That's...
