Dollar General — Local services in Emerald Isle

I just wanted to say that I have been going to this store since it opened. It is close to my house and on my way home from work. I've always had a good experience until recently. The last 3 times I've been in the store, I have had to wait for someone to check me out at the register. On one occasion, I walked the entire store looking for someone and still didn't find anyone. So, I picked up a magazine at the register and began reading it. Approximately 6 minutes later, someone showed up. On another occasion, they were putting away stock and I had to go looking for them. On the 3 occasion, I kept calling for someone with no response. She was in the office eating. She had to have heard me. I don't know if you have cut down on staff or if its because the self check out is something they rely on for customers to check out. All I know is this causes my stress. I would rather just go to Walmart on the way home now rather than deal with having to look for someone when I am ready to pay for my purchases. Thank...
