A Long Overdue but Well-Deserved Review Last year, my brother borrowed my Suburban to drive from Maryland to Florida. While passing through Virginia, the transmission blew. In a scramble, he found Mike’s Auto and Truck Repair LLC through a quick Google search. Initially, I was skeptical about leaving my truck at a local repair shop instead of taking it to a Chevy dealer—but I’m so thankful he did. Although I never met Mike in person, he gained my trust from the very first phone call. He was quick to respond, incredibly knowledgeable, and had excellent phone etiquette. You could tell he genuinely cared about helping. Mike went above and beyond—he even called in a favor from his trusted transmission expert. He and his team worked tirelessly, sometimes staying as late as 10 PM, to completely rebuild the transmission. Amazingly, they had it ready for pickup just in time for my brother’s return trip from Florida. At one point, I asked Mike about doing some additional work I thought might be needed. He could’ve easily said yes and charged me for it—but instead, he gave me his honest opinion and said it wasn’t necessary at the time. That level of integrity is rare. I also want to note that he was almost $2000 cheaper than what I was quoted from shops here in Maryland. To this day, my Suburban is still running like it’s brand new. I’m beyond grateful for Mike and his team, and I can’t recommend them...

Mikes Auto and Truck Repair is outstanding!! My son (who is 18) was on his way back to North Carolina, after driving for 4.5 hours he stopped to put fuel in his tank and get back on the road; however, that didn't happen. My son couldn't get the car started once the tank was full. My son called me asking for help, I couldn't do anything other than look for someone near him that might be able to assist. I found Mike's and gave them a call. They had the perfect opportunity to take advantage of a young man who needed to get back to school, but they didn't!! Mikes took the time to check the car make sure it was good to go, and advised my son to replace the battery when he got home, that there shouldn't be any issues with him driving the car back the rest of the way and sent my son on his way. There was no charge for the once over of the car and the advice to change the battery. Truly both OUTSTANDING, IMPRESSIVE and APPRECIATED when you get a someone that is willing to give of their time and expertise without charging!! I can't say enough good about Mike. Honest, personable, and extremely capable when it comes to dealing with auto repair. My wife and I were on our way to Emerald Isle, NC and had been on the road for about 150 miles when we were interrupted by a spark plug that decided to blow out of the engine. Very early on a Saturday morning. We limped to a 24/7 gas station and called AAA. Driver picked up the car and made several calls to semi local car dealers that said they'd be happy to look at the car mid week... and a couple of places that weren't open on the weekend. Things were looking a bit dismal until Jesse said wait let me call Mike down in Jarrett...If anybody can fix it this is the guy. Sure enough he called Mike and we brought the car to him...professional diagnosis and a precision repair had us on our way in two and a half to three hours!
