Big win with this company. Booked the Gasparilla Sand Bar. WEAR WATER SHOES!!! Personable, professional organization offering multiple tours and opportunities to enjoy the Florida gulf. I was so impressed with this group from start to finish. On my first call I spoke with Capitan Tim and although I did not know WHAT I wanted he walked me through some options and times. I spoke with my family and selected a private excursion for a certain date. Upon calling back to book, Captain Tim informed me that he had looked at the wind sheer and that it was calling for 15mph winds all day and he stated out on the Gasparilla Sand Bar it could feel more like 25mph. That was a hard pass from my group, and I was so incredibly grateful that he was forthcoming even though it left an open spot on his schedule. At this point the other days and time did not work with my families work/school schedules. A couple days later I called back just checking if there had been any cancellations for the only day that would work for us during this trip. Unfortunately, there had not. Defeated, I told my family that the boat excursion would have to be next trip. I was SHOCKED and excited when Gasparilla Boat Tours called me back about 15 minutes later and offered that day as an option. They had thought out of the box and followed up with the others scheduled on the day we wanted to confirm with them or see if they had any interested in switching to another day. THIS IS WHAT MAKES SMALL BUSINESSES GREAT and often better than the big guy who just does not take the initiative. It may not have worked out but in this case one of the groups booked said yes, they would prefer to switch to another day. WOW, WOW, WOW. Things just got better from there. The trip was AMAZING, the location was awesome, and Captain Tim was both incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. He is not the kind of guide that just sits on the boat and waits until the times up. He was engaging and it was so obvious how passionate he is about the ocean and its beauty and adventure. What a fun trip! We found some fantastic shells and sea life and even though the best shells were owner occupied and had to be placed back we had a great time. We are looking forward to booking another adventure with Captain Tim and Gasparilla Boat Tours. Don’t...

There are a new company as of February this year 2018. I you highly recommend this company for several reasons. I have a special needs nephew that is in a wheelchair because he has cerebral palsy since birth. My brother and his wife adopted even though they said he would not live most likely till his first birthday. We celebrated his 12th birthday this year in Florida. When I want to book it, the girl that I spoken to was not sure that they would be able to accommodate the wheelchair. She said she would check with the owner/captain and let us know. The owner personally called us back and said it would not be a problem. They support all special needs children, and Military. The captain and first mate, okay the owners, were so accommodating when it came to my nephew Hunter as well as my brother's other two children. We went on a Sunset Cruise. They were a Fountain of information of the area which was very educational for the children. It was even educational for me and I live here. There was dolphins in a certain area and they took the time from the boat tour to sit there for a while so that all of the patreons on the boat could take pictures while seeing the Dolphins. I highly recommend this company. I would recommend to anyone coming to the area where to book a tour. They have to add a. Next time family comes down I will try the one earlier in the day which I believe is there lunch Cruise, but don't quote me on that one. A bonus, there was free serving of wine, water & cookies for the children, which you don't find very...

Great time-- fabulous informative crew-- the captain and mate of the boat eased my fears of boating w/ tourists that had $1k and a 45 min safety video. my anxiety was on high alert--they were both diligent and alert! The "mate" was always looking for wildlife and possible dangers -- while at the same time explaining the area. Kudos to you!! I hate boats but was fully aware of yours, and the captins careful management of your "inexperienced peers" on the water (sorry I'm bad w/names.. Slavic?? ) the captain paused for us to enjoy the wild life-- got us as close as possible w/o spooking the animals and managed to dodge ball around all the illiterate people w/a boat and zero knowledge-- hands down we will book again next time we are in the area-- you should too!!

It was unfortunate snooks was close during our visit. But 5 stars still!! Thanks for a graceful trip. Snooks better bring it next time!

Sue-- I remember your name but I was only supposed to use it for anything less than 5 stars -- you have a fantastic, funny crew!! No complaints here-- ty for a great trip. 6/29/23...

Fun pontoon tour with Captain Tim. If you want to follow dolphins around, see some manatees and osprey, this is for you. Captain Tim is knowledgeable about wildlife, laid back, and fun. The boat is nice and clean.

Captain Justen and First Mate Kristina were great! We were in town and had heard the area of Gasparilla/Boca Grande was the place to see so we decided that a boat tour would be the way to go. We had a great time in the tour. It was a little chilly but we had sweatshirts on and of course, despite their best efforts - they don’t control the weather. They were friendly, informative, helpful and made the experience very enjoyable. We did their “critter and dolphin” tour and saw both critters and dolphins (as advertised) throughout the 2 hour tour. We had many dolphin sightings and a few came right up to the boat next to us, which was pretty cool. Many other critters, such as various sea birds and others checked the box of “critters” as well. The area in and around Gasparilla Island is very cool with crystal clear water in varying shades of blue that was well worth our trip. Highly recommend them if you are interested in a boat tour. They also run sunset cruises, which we wished we had the time to do, but maybe next time we’re down this way.
